  1. A heat leader of Kerr's stature scoring 2 is awful, why not blame him, it was his fault, Why should he need to settle in? He has ridden all the tracks many times. I didn't say I did not want him, I said he was not a favourite of mine but while he rides for my team I will support him. He will come good I am sure, probably just an off night as he rode well for Sheffield the other day. I may have made a derogatory comment about Tom as at the time I felt he was doing too much and was obviously worn out. I was at Oxford that night so I may have commented, I cant remember but he certainly didnt let anyone down in the second leg so I expect Lewi will bounce back, better to have a bad night than get an injury or a re-occurrence of an old injury and he has had some bad ones.
  2. I think you can blame most of it on him, 2 points from your second best rider! Who do you blame then?
  3. No idea what was up with him tonight, rode well for Sheffield the other day. You know I am not a fan of his but he is meant to be a professional!
  4. Sheffield have overall strength now especially at reserve although Sedgeman maybe a concern, Kerr could be a great signing at reserve, Belle Vue have a definite weakness at reserve.
  5. I expect Doyle did not take part as he had a fall earlier in the meeting.
  6. Zach seems to have gone up a level this season which is to our benefit and Belle Vue's. I agree Tobias was very impressive and now he has had a season he will be better at away tracks too. Apart from Marson I thought all the team looked good, didnt think Starke was great at Oxford but was better last night although against weaker opposition.
  7. Marson is a poor rider, we just have to cope with 6 riders at the moment and it was boring for some partly because the Pirates have a much better team, Plymouth looked poor and partly because we won which doesnt suit some peoples agenda.
  8. I doubt if the forecast is much different in either area and the NSS has far better drainage so I cant see why anyone would think they have a hidden agenda. It could be said having guests improve the team!
  9. To be fair I havent seen him ride much this season, sounds like his attitude has improved, always had plenty of ability.
  10. I dont really rate Flint, he usually has quite a few off nights, Kemp has definitely improved but I still think he has a attitude problem.
  11. Could be another long season for Plymouth, expected better from Klindt .
  12. Yes he is a likeable lad and to be fair Gilkes only passed Starke but looked a great move at the time. I really thought at the start of last season Sam was a great signing for Poole but seemed to falter as the season progressed.
  13. He did make a great pass on the last bend in one race though.
  14. Yes I agree he deserves an injury free season and better luck and you are correct early days. Hope he has a great season.
  15. We must be doing something right then.
  16. But that wouldn't fit with Gavan's anti Poole agenda.
  17. Yes I am sure you are right, early days, shouldn't judge after one meeting, Anders will be better too, I would rather riders stayed safe at this stage of the season.
  18. Kerr is meant to be a top rider in this league. Anders will come good, not so sure about Kerr, very impressed by Zach, top performance.
  19. Anders will be fine, 6 points away in your first meeting is not terrible. Kerr is more of a concern.Marson looked poor not sure he would do any better against a 2 point reserve.
  20. Kerr was a worrying signing for me and not a great start to his Pirates career. I agree we should have got Vinnie back, Starke did ok but Foord is a rider who is hungry for success. Anders started well then faded but I think he will be fine.Lawson hasnt been great for Kings Lynn but looked better tonight, different league I know but definite improvement.
  21. I think you will nick it and your debutant looks a decent prospect although wouldn't expect too much in first meeting. Looking forward to it, should be good in the Oxfordshire sunshine.
  22. We will make up for it! Hope it is a good meeting, don't expect to win but should be close. Neither Lawson or Masters on top form currently and we have new superstar Matt Marson!
  23. No I am expecting some riders will have off nights but we have a rider at reserve who should be able to take extra rides and get points. I think Hodder has potential to be that rider with a little improvement.
  24. Be interesting to see how he goes, sure to beat Matt Marson I would imagine.
