Thanks for that.Strange how old age plays tricks on the memory.I thought it would have been the other way round. Not too shabby averages mind
-
If he could be persuaded to change his mind and race in this country this year would Kasper Andersson on about 4.1 average I think not be a better option especially at home

You sure you don't mean ticket sales have been abysmal so now panicking nobody is going to be there -
£30 for around 35 minutes actual racing would equate to around £75 to £80 to watch a football match.Don't know what level of football you could compare the standard of this to but doubt it would be the top 2 English leagues if even the next 2. It's not just the quantity you pay for it's the quality too and there is very little of that at the moment RIP Berwick speedway. Just saying

They are charging Rolls Royce prices to buy a Lada given this season's performances. -

Dany Gappmaier or Busk Jacobsen if either wanted to ride in this country plus Dan Thompson instead of Jorgensen and Stoneman and get Knudsen to reserve before his average goes up too far.Wont happen as too early to make changes but would strengthen side at Shielfield at least.Suppose you have to give current side time though.Main problem still goes back to Jorgensen's 9.5 average knackering the whole team building. -

Hope the Bandits don't become this year's Newcastle but all the comments about team, track, equipment, manager, crowd sound very similar.Yes it's only the first meeting but can you in all honesty see things improving -
Redcar v Berwick KO Cup 31/3/23

Is he not just trying to hide the fact that yet again they have built a not very competitive team? -
It's Glasgow. Bound to be the team manager's fault.

Part of the problem is that if you are working on a Saturday and finish late you haven't time to faff around organising on line tickets before setting off to travel. Also might have other commitments leading to last minute decision to go and in both cases you are penalised through no fault of your own. Maybe not a problem for the likes of Mr Barrie whose whole existence revolves around speedway but the powers that be should maybe accept not everyone is like that.

That sums it up really.£13 last year with concession to £20 this year with no concession is over 50% increase. I realise looking at the crowds a big number will be concessions so can see why their business model says cut out concessions to increase income but not for me at those prices.Won't be back.

Think positive people. There's only 8 home matches to watch this team instead of the 16 there was originally going to be.
-
This is Berwick you're talking about. Much much more likely to be any 2 from Wells, Pijper and Wethers. Need a bit of reality here
-
Be very interesting to know which 3 clubs right enough.Obviously a really democratically run organisation if 3 clubs can outvote the other 6.
-
Wonder if Berwick might have kind of jumped the start a bit announcing/signing so many riders before the agm had finalised everything.
-
Somebody with a computery type brain should set up a fan vote on here.2 home 2 away with no play off or 1 home 1 away with playoff.Send result to powers that be - but only if 2 home 2 away wins the vote.
-
Also would mean both reserves at 2 points so Ace Pijper and Schlein (or Craig Cook!)
-
Kasper Anderson and brother Knudsen or Claus Vissing

Or offer their place in the final to the side who finished second in their qualifying group - if they want it
