Part of the problem is that if you are working on a Saturday and finish late you haven't time to faff around organising on line tickets before setting off to travel. Also might have other commitments leading to last minute decision to go and in both cases you are penalised through no fault of your own. Maybe not a problem for the likes of Mr Barrie whose whole existence revolves around speedway but the powers that be should maybe accept not everyone is like that.

That sums it up really.£13 last year with concession to £20 this year with no concession is over 50% increase. I realise looking at the crowds a big number will be concessions so can see why their business model says cut out concessions to increase income but not for me at those prices.Won't be back.

Think positive people. There's only 8 home matches to watch this team instead of the 16 there was originally going to be.

This is Berwick you're talking about. Much much more likely to be any 2 from Wells, Pijper and Wethers. Need a bit of reality here
-
Be very interesting to know which 3 clubs right enough.Obviously a really democratically run organisation if 3 clubs can outvote the other 6.
-
Wonder if Berwick might have kind of jumped the start a bit announcing/signing so many riders before the agm had finalised everything.

Somebody with a computery type brain should set up a fan vote on here.2 home 2 away with no play off or 1 home 1 away with playoff.Send result to powers that be - but only if 2 home 2 away wins the vote.

Also would mean both reserves at 2 points so Ace Pijper and Schlein (or Craig Cook!)
-
Kasper Anderson and brother Knudsen or Claus Vissing

Or offer their place in the final to the side who finished second in their qualifying group - if they want it -
Or Leon goes to Oxford with him

Just like the visa office workers, you can't fault them for effort or for trying. -

Take "away" out of that sentence and it's more accurate -
Can Bomber not ride for Berwick B team if they get into Premiership next year as they wanted to this time and still ride for the A team at Shielfield on Saturdays (or vice versa!).Was nice of the B side to let the A side win last night, wasn't it.

Not just missing Jye.It coincided with big drop in scoring from Theo and Ricky who if they had scored as they did at start of season would have covered his scoring fine in my humble opinion

Could always go to Easter Road.Never any decent passing there either nowadays. -
Newcastle vs Glasgow 8/5/22 4pm??
alang replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Presumably if home team riders and referee were happy with track they could have finished the remaining heats with 2 home riders only in each heat. That didn't happen so either ref or home riders or both must also have been a bit unhappy with it -
Newcastle vs Berwick SGB Championship 1 May 4pm
alang replied to StevePark's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Presumably Berwick +/- the ref could put in an official complaint/report to BSPA about the track etc to be totally ignored by the powers that be. -

Other thing about last night is should book that ref for all the double headers.Just about had the 2 minutes on when the previous race riders were coming round bend 4 on their last lap -

Thought they said it was to get all the sponsor group around whatever they do an then into their box.Ref didn't come back from pits to ref box till near enough 7.15 either so maybe "discussions" in pits possibly over who was eligible for r/r rides. At least it was a lovely warm night to sit waiting. -
