  1. Risager signed for Plymouth, so that solves that problem
  2. If you need a P, you'd best go to the toilet... Think Sissis is a gamble on a 5 when he probably hasn't sat on a speedway bike for a couple of years. If he can live up to his potential though, could be a very astute signing
  3. Sissis has tweeted that he is coming to the UK in February. Think the only question marks are the fitness of Poole and Proctor - if fit they will be riding for us (I would imagine)
  4. Wells to Workington Jorgy to Berwick and Wolbert to Edinburgh all been announced
  5. http://www.foxsportspulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?client=1-6771-0-0-0&sID=150512&&news_task=DETAIL&articleID=32460550 Report on the Rob Woffinden Classic which Josh Bates rode in, 7 points and a fall. The fnal is on You tube, the track is tiny!
  6. ... All is well with the world! Great team building so far
  7. Is there any word on whether Andre will be fit? Given Wilson's performances towards the end of the season I'm surprised more people aren't shouting for his signature. I would be gobsmacked if Proctor wasn't in the line up next year (subject to fitness obviously)
  8. Very happy with that!! I know he has an everage for a reason ie his away scores might not be amazing, but around Owlerton he could pass for a number 1
  9. I've not worked it out yet, but it's definitely not Glasgow
  10. Your information may be correct (not really bothered either way to be honest), but a mate who has a mate who knows somebody's mate is hardly an official source
  11. Summers has handed in a transfer request to leave Redcar and Lawson is also set to leave them, according to Speedway 365 they could both be heading to the same northern club
  12. I see Craig Cook mentioned... Not in the same class as the majority of other riders mentioned! He is very good, but when you think riders like Wilson, stoney, Watson, schott, Carr, shields all rode in the league at the same time, I think it demonstrates how much stronger it was in the late 90's than it is now and how much tougher it was to stand out. I confess to being a Sheffield supporter and so am slightly biased, but Wilson and Stoney stand out to me for being 10 point riders with longevity over a number of seasons.
  13. Guest v national league replacement, personally would prefer to see a rider that is on the pace than an NL guest (no disrespect intended)
  14. Averaged 5.6 from 9 meetings for Sheffield. Feel free to keep him
  15. Not for me thank you. Have loved watching him ride in the past, but wasn't that good last year and then suffered yet another serious injury.
