I'm sure Riss rolling average was below 6 up to June 13th and will only drop more by end of the month the way he's riding currently.

Ipswich v Belle Vue 13th July

Agree entirely with that but sadly never gonna happen, what are the actual issues between Nicholls and Ipswich, heard numberous times he'd never ride for them again whenever his name was mentioned over the last few seasons. -

Riss needs replacing and should of been stood down wks ago, like been said his poor form puts more pressure on Rew and the reserves, would Batch fit for Riss, just asking -

Hume should be beating Bailey at home really, and yet again King went missing later in the meeting, less said about Riss the better. -

Hope im wrong i but can't see anything other then another Belle Vue win, their reserves are stronger on paper and Wright/Lindsey are more than a match for Riss/King, Emil/Doyle should hopefully out score Bewley/Kurtz but need the the remaining 5 riders to come to the party. -
Same here, Riss has never really scored well regularly in the 1-5, probably worth the risk in reserve berth.
-
Personally think after last night it's all over, Ipi have been poor on the rd all season and none to convincing at home generally and the other 4 teams are all stronger on paper 1-7.
-
Nowt, but it's the taking part that counts
-
Connor Bailey is the new Belle Vue RS so he's no longer available anyway.
-
I wouldn't be surprised if Bailey don't sign for Belle Vue to replace the injured Jake Mulford, ive also chucked his name out there for Ipi but for some reason their happy keeping it in the family with the Thompson twins thus far.

Yeah im sure Roynon said last night on BSN that they were compulsory this season and had to be fitted. -
King's Lynn Vs Sheffield 06.07.23

It's the material used that puts a lot of the the riders off, im sure it's been said that Chapman uses a clay based mixture rather then just shale at both Lynn and Peterborough and it creates a very grippy track so it seems, the main problem is most of today's riders don't like it heavy and grippy and can't ride a grippy track with confidence, Loram and Screen from yesteryear would have a field day and revel in the conditions, a bit like Harris does now at times, but not the majority of today's gating tartsplus the rocket ships they ride nowadays are so much harder to ride compared to bikes of a few years back if the track ain't smooth and slick and prepared just so. -

Exactly this, plus young un's get bored quick enough as it is and don't wanna watch more tractor racing then actual racing plus listen to music from the 70's/80's at best -

If King don't return 8-10 points a match Ipi normally struggle to getta win as the other riders don't generally chip in with enough points, so good job he did score well last night, 37 from the top 3 but only 10 from the other 4. -
King's Lynn Vs Sheffield 06.07.23
kevin bass replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Howarth had already said on BSN when interviewed before heat 14 rerun that the riders were getting their excuses in early why they didn't want to ride in heat 15 coz of the state of the track. -

That's what you get when they use clay rather then shale. -
Survival of The Premiership?

The "old" word is the biggest problem way i c it tho, we all know a large majority of the current fans have been going for yrs and are mostly pensioners and getting on a bit, the trouble is when they stop going for whatever reason who's gonna take their place on the terraces, if the younger generation can't be tempted to turn up who's gonna be left when the "old" un's have all gone. -
Oh ok, i thought the other Aussie rider involved was someone else who still rides over here now, unless it wasn't the incident i was thinking of.
-
It could be him Steve, i seem to remember he had some issues or got into a bit of bother, returned to Oz and was never seen or heard of again
-
Could be right there, but it's going back haps ten yrs or so now.
-
Is was pretty common knowledge back in the day i believe that Tyson Nelson was a wrong un, im sure there was another Aussie who did a season or 2 over here and did reasonable well who had a bad reputation and never returned, can't remember his name but it's going back a few seasons now.

Even the most high tech blow up dolls can't think or speak
-
He might genuinely be having after effects from yesterday's meeting, he scored 8 paid 9 from his first 3 rides then tailed off and ran a third and a last in his final 2 rides, or then again there's nowt wrong with him
-
Ipswich should of offered him a slot rather them swapping between the Thompson twins
-
Least Lynn don't mind taking a punt on Rowe.
