  1. Fully agree. Depends who the last rider is.
  2. Exactly. So anyone that signs a rider on a false average is getting a head start on others by signing a ringer.
  3. Shown up on BT live as hardly having touched it.
  4. Jack is only echoing what others have said about the track.
  5. It's all nonsense. They are regrading riders like Tai to a 9 (or 8 it now appears), allowing some who have improved massively since 2016 to come back on an old average (Woryna), and then giving Clegg a 2 point average from his 4 meetings for Wolves which normally wouldn't qualify you for a new average. Depends who is asking as to who gets an average to suit. The governing body haven't made one fair assessment yet on averages for 2018. So some will get an advantage next year and some will be denied. All thanks to the pathetic efforts of our governing body to muck up the averages yet again.
  6. Wouldn't surprise me. Even Jack said the track was bad in Speedway Star this week.
  7. If he has an established top flight average then it's only fair they use that.
  8. Kennett started the season with Rye that suffered those home losses. Fair point. Let's see when other teams have declared to compare against.
  9. If he has an established top flight average then that's the one that counts. Unless the BSPA apply a rule to suit him like they have with Clegg.
  10. Similar team to last season so far. Didn't work for them in 2017. 2 home losses , 3 away wins. Need to increase the away tally and cut out the home losses to make the top 4.
  11. And to add to the confusion Clegg apparently is a 2.00 from his 4 matches for wolves, which is neither his championship average or his starting 2017 average (given he didn't ride enough for a new average - he is given one anyway). Seems they make averages stick to whoever asks.
  12. That didn't work well for you in 2017. Brady is very much on the up, hopefully the pressure won't get to him too much.
  13. You only need one strong reserve and let's see what Morris does. Greaves, Shanes, Davey et Al only have to beat each other. Poole have the weakest number one so it's called swings and roundabouts.
  14. He only did for matches. Meant to 3 home 3 away to get new average. However this is the BSPA we are talking about. They have reassessed Tai at 9 (or 8 as it now seems) because he didn't ride in the UK in 2017 yet allowed other Poles to keep their ridiculously low averages who also didn't ride here in 2017. Now it seems they are making up new rules to fit another rider. Nothing surprises me anymore!
  15. Exactly. A 2.00 average makes no sense at all.
  16. Did you miss my praise of him in 2016 or are you just selecting posts to quote to suit? Not sure that not using a correct average is saying anything negative about anyone. I'm sure you know better tho.
  17. Most teams seem to have a weak number 7. He only has to beat them and he has done his job.
  18. MF would be talking out his rear then as he forgot they didn't buy Miedzinski when Swindon insisted on a sale. Holder will go on loan if he wants out of Poole so there is nothing that MF can do about it.
  19. Depends if they use his established top flight average which given that the likes of Woryna still can hold on old average that might force Proctor out of any top flight team.
  20. Strange one this. He is listed as 2.00 from 4 matches. That surely can't be classified as counting? Something not right about this if so.
  21. Can only ditto that. Am hoping for a full recovery and improved health for him in 2018 and onwards.
  22. If wolves aren't in the play offs I couldn't care less who wins!!
  23. 2010 is everyone's, bar Poole supporters, favourite trophy lift at Poole.
