  1. Thought Middlo would be the kids entertainer, he knows what kids do these days.
  2. Gutted for Sam. Let's hope the surgery allows him enough recovery time to star the new season. Not a great way to start the year for him. Quick recovery Sam!
  3. Buying assets is a waste of time. Kasprzak will just do 'a Miedzinski' and go where he wants and no sale forced. KK is worth very little anyway, and I'm sure MF is hoping to get top dollar for a rider he knows gives little effort to the UK top flight. Loan it is then unless Rye really want to buy him, poor things!!
  4. Remember he did say he was only saying it to wind us up, unless he believes it of course. So we know what that makes BFM. Not that I doubted it.
  5. Apologies. I get what you meant now. You are correct. I'd assumed Bachelor had an average over 8.:t:
  6. You can compare their averages over 2 seasons, Morris was still the better UK rider and had a higher average both times. There isn't anything else to consider. Referring to 2018. I'm going with trolling. He actually said he was only posting to wind me and you up (and failed miserably). Only real explanation.
  7. Zagar had an average from the old format of only riding heat leaders, the same formula that Lindgren achieved low 6 on. I agree Zagar is the better rider and is World Class. That's why I didn't compare Chris Holder to Morris. There are natural flaws. You are trying to compare a 23 year old with more top flight experience with one who is 21 and only has 2 years experience. Yet you would argue the younger with less experience and a lower average (naturally for both) is already the better rider when at this stage of his career in the UK he is isn't. It's fairly simple really.
  8. Yet the same duo will still claim Kurtz is better. As comical as it is. At least we are all clear that Morris is the better of the 2 in the UK. Glad that's sorted.
  9. Assumed Iversen. We do know. Ivan won 6 world titles when the opposition were probably stronger. Ivan was totally professional throughout his career. Darcy was indeed naturally gifted but lacked the professionalism.
  10. Those are the facts, feel free to disagree with them. Doyle had a higher top flight in the UK than Lindgren, was he the better rider in the UK last year? Well yes. (Separate argument about their top flight career versus their GP career) Holder had a higher top flight average in the UK than Kasprzak, was he the better rider in the UK last year? Obviously. (Separate argument ditto above) Morris had a higher top flight average in the UK than Kurtz, was he the better rider Inn the UK last year? Obviously again yes ( separate argument that one is a few years older, longer top flight career versus a fledging one). Either way I'm sure you will argue against the facts. And you will be wrong again.
  11. You appear to be very confused. Under any description Kurtz is not the better rider in the UK right now. Maybe he will be end of 2018. But right now he isn't. You won't be able to provide an argument that challenges the facts. The ones you provided don't challenge the facts.
  12. You clearly have an inability to read as I'd previously stated Kurtz has talent. Under no circumstances has he 'surpassed ' Morris, although I'd be interested to read how you quantify that. As the worst number one averaged rider (barring Rye) it's hardly anything for any fan to brag about. What you can brag about however is the development he has made in 2017. Signs are good. However until he delivers that promise (that he may or may not happen) he is just a very promising emerging talent. In the UK he has a way to go before anyone can say he is already a better rider than Morris who is clearly the better top flight rider before a wheel has turned in 2018. Averages are a different thing. If you are choosing who to sign on averages you would probably go with Kurtz, however if you were looking to sign the better rider in the UK it would be Morris. You seem to be getting the 2 confused.
  13. In the UK well ahead, if isn't even an argument. Until Kurtz adds a point to his starting average then he might start to close that cavern.
  14. Which in the UK he is, well ahead.
  15. I was referring to Hans A ORLOV in a separate post implying that he is on a decline.
  16. And some said he is a cut above the rest. How many times has he fluffed it during this 4 round series. Still a huge way to go to be considered a cut above. Great talent all the same.
  17. True. He isn't a number one anymore but still more than capable of adding a bit more.
  18. Sam Masters pulled out the final Aussie round today after 1 round with an ankle injury, he had a pre meeting crash caused by another rider. Hope its precautionary.
  19. Not being pedantic but his average was 7.15 in 2016, 7.75 in 2017.
  20. Add in the corruption of some riders getting reassessed and others not. Either all riders who didn't ride here in 2017 get reassessed or none do. Total corruption indeed.
  21. It's not. During the draft days up to 2016 heat leaders had to rode 1,3 & 5. In any order.
