Wolves V Belle Vue 18/4/17
stevebrum replied to stevebrum's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I rate both of them have made that clear many times. On paper they are weak compared to other teams but I grant you they are both definitely a huge talent. Time for Clegg to step up. -
A huge test ahead as the Aces always go well at the Green. Time for Clegg to have his best meeting with 2 weak Aces reserves. We won't be saying that at the end of the season that's for sure. We need decent performances from 1-5 to nullify the potential of a good score from Worrall whilst Bjerre has had some superb meetings here although not in recent seasons. That said he seems to have hit the ground running from the off. A win of any sort will be good , so will go for 47-43. Opinions?

Poole V Coventry Select. 19/4/17 7.30pm

And worth every penny with a regular best prepared track award virtually every year. -
What makes you think Zagar is suddenly able to come in given the Polish ruling it still isn't possible is it? If Zagar was to come in it would have to be on his 1.4 conversion surely, otherwise it makes no sense signing any top league only rider at the start of the season.

Masters was there for his team, something the Pole rarely is. -

At least Masters turned up despite the club having a facility. Something you wouldn't see the blonde pole doing. -
Poole V Coventry Select. 19/4/17 7.30pm

At the recent Wolves V Coventry match there was a turnstile to pay for reduced entry at £15, with another turnstile for the regular £18 with £3 of that going to the fund. Seems a perfect idea to me. -
Likewise I've been saying the same. However I would worry how many fixture clashes he might have with work clubs already. Plus I'd imagine when averages change Greaves will be replaced by Clegg with a higher averaged rider at number 6.

are you blind to the amount of times KK has been sacked by other clubs? One season when he didn't get sacked or miss many meetings , gee whizz. are you referring to the meeting we had a facility for Sam and we used that facility because the rider was already there? The only thing he is nailed on for is his lack of commitment and poor scores littering his results. -

Everyone knows KK doesn't care about our league or any team he rides for, including Poole. -

Using the same theory that the facility for KK was still in place despite the fact he could ride Kerr facility needs to be honoured too???? -
Think we all know how that story went. Stats still the same however as we are talking about the ability of a rider to do the job in hand. He hasn't been as poor as some were saying he would be. Truth is that the skill mix is wrong so it's important that is addressed ASAP.

Belle Vue V's Wolves Fri 14/4/17

Cook did the same earlier in the meeting. Likewise I like Cookie. Every team would want his passion on your side. -
It won't be the first he will miss either. RR would have probably earned Poole the win if they had done things the right way. I hope this is looked at because it's crazy that a rider who is meant to be riding in another country is allowed to stay at home even when the meeting was called off the day before. At least we know that KK isn't bothered to ride for Poole when he clearly can. Nothing changes with him. What makes me laugh is that he claims Poole is his English home yet can't organise of he bothered to come over when he isn't racing to give his parent club a chance of winning both matches. What a disgrace he is proving to be already. No surprises tho.
