  1. if you were there you must have had your back turned if you missed the great racing tonight. GM for the first 3 then back to the BMW for the last one. Both hopeless. When Greaves sets about beingbghe one doing the chasing then you know you're in trouble. Adam is riding on a British license. That was a cracker with some top quality battles going on tonight. Wolves led from start to finish with the reserves contributing. Never expected to say that. Was a little disappointed with the Aces. YES they took a point, YES they were never more than 6 points behind. I expected a decent win for them in all honesty considering how they have started and are usually a danger team at Monmore. So I'm delighted my prediction was wrong. Freddie looked a completely different beast tonight and never looked like getting touched whilst Bjerre started with 2 strong wins and then was well and truly beaten up in 2 of his remaining rides. Good to see a great travelling support for the Aces however the ones stood by us........... not sure they even understand the sport. They want Garrity for Fricke who is rubbish (their words). Everytime we won a race they said we cheat as we brought Woffy in last year (that's right EVERY time! ) They are the better side despite never leading the meeting. Still, I'm sure all clubs have em. Adam is a huge worry and was nowhere near scoring and when Greaves is the rider to chase in heat 12 you know you have problems. Delighted to see the track producing excellent racing. Top notch stuff from the boys and the track staff. WOLVES FRED - in a different class to the rest. Untouchable by an Ace. 5/5 KYLE - had a great battle with Worrall in heat 8 but continues to step it up each match. 4/5 ADAM - beyond poor. 0/5 JACOB - had to play 2nd best to Kenny in heat 3 otherwise majestic including sorting both Aces in the finale. 4.5/5 SAM - had a tough night and was hard ridden by Fricke in the 13th. 2.5/5 MAX - beat Smith twice but looked quicker as well. 1.5/5 NATHAN - his best match in a Wolves suit. Smith completely messed up bend 2 in heat 4 and killed any speed he had otherwise did his job and more beating Worrall. Sam did look after him he had already dome the hard work. No falls, steady , good gating and carried speed well. 3/5 MOTM ACES Fricke - decent after a rubbish 1st heat. In the thick of the action after that. 3.5/5 Worrall - one race wonder. Huge disappointment. 1.5/5 Bjerre - top scored as expected. Seems revitalised this season. Although couldn't touch Freddie. 3.5/5 Sedgmen - ordinary, beat no one of any ilk. 1.5/5 Cook - apparently was ill (?). Decent effort but poor points tally. 2.5/5 Bewley - a star of the future. Very impressed. 4/5 Smith - couldn't ride the track and was adrift in 2 of his heats. 0.5/5
  2. He has at least bothered to turn up every match, committed to the UK tho.
  3. Fair point acef, the most exciting side this year. Can't wait for Tuesday night,
  4. I rate both of them have made that clear many times. On paper they are weak compared to other teams but I grant you they are both definitely a huge talent. Time for Clegg to step up.
  5. A huge test ahead as the Aces always go well at the Green. Time for Clegg to have his best meeting with 2 weak Aces reserves. We won't be saying that at the end of the season that's for sure. We need decent performances from 1-5 to nullify the potential of a good score from Worrall whilst Bjerre has had some superb meetings here although not in recent seasons. That said he seems to have hit the ground running from the off. A win of any sort will be good , so will go for 47-43. Opinions?
  6. And worth every penny with a regular best prepared track award virtually every year.
  7. What makes you think Zagar is suddenly able to come in given the Polish ruling it still isn't possible is it? If Zagar was to come in it would have to be on his 1.4 conversion surely, otherwise it makes no sense signing any top league only rider at the start of the season.
  8. Masters was there for his team, something the Pole rarely is.
  9. At least Masters turned up despite the club having a facility. Something you wouldn't see the blonde pole doing.
  10. At the recent Wolves V Coventry match there was a turnstile to pay for reduced entry at £15, with another turnstile for the regular £18 with £3 of that going to the fund. Seems a perfect idea to me.
  11. Likewise I've been saying the same. However I would worry how many fixture clashes he might have with work clubs already. Plus I'd imagine when averages change Greaves will be replaced by Clegg with a higher averaged rider at number 6.
  12. are you blind to the amount of times KK has been sacked by other clubs? One season when he didn't get sacked or miss many meetings , gee whizz. are you referring to the meeting we had a facility for Sam and we used that facility because the rider was already there? The only thing he is nailed on for is his lack of commitment and poor scores littering his results.
  13. Everyone knows KK doesn't care about our league or any team he rides for, including Poole.
  14. SCB already confirmed their were flights available. He just couldn't be bothered.
  15. Using the same theory that the facility for KK was still in place despite the fact he could ride Kerr facility needs to be honoured too????
  16. sacked by both. Coventry twice! And Lakeside. The gift that keeps on giving. What a joy to read this tonight. Thanks to the forum joker.
  17. welcome to the top flight section, welcome to the Poole comedy hour, and welcome to the warped logic of Starman. He really is the gift that keeps on giving. We have had to put up with this for years! RR or a 3 pointer it should have been. You say it like it's a rarity!
  18. Very well said. There are plenty of unbiased reports this morning from sensible Poole fans. Shame the arrogant mouthpiece ruins it for you a lot.
  19. Think we all know how that story went. Stats still the same however as we are talking about the ability of a rider to do the job in hand. He hasn't been as poor as some were saying he would be. Truth is that the skill mix is wrong so it's important that is addressed ASAP.
  20. Flights were available. As already proven by another poster this morning. Clearly didn't try very hard at all.
  21. just waiting for the blue tints to claim KK is Poole thru and thru. He is probably sat laughing thinking how he was able to swerve yet another meeting for a British club.
