Clearly they are. We are still waiting!!

Great to see common sense over rides the rules. Just a shame that they don't include that in the rules, would make perfect sense, right?

Wolves V Belle Vue 18/4/17
stevebrum replied to stevebrum's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Try reading other updates when no information is given other than heat results. I was probably enjoying the meeting too much to post reams of information. Some should be grateful there are any at all. Like I say if you feel it's easy to document everything in an update feel free to have a go. Plenty of passing to make it a decent meeting. -
There aren't an abundance of suppliers no. We are currently waiting shale from the Leicester quarry as they have had huge problems with it being to wet to mix. Clearly it's taking time to get the shale in ridable state.

King's Lynn V Belle Vue - 19 April 2017

And by the sound of it there can't be anything worse than a poorly prepared track that provides poor racing. At least we had some great racing on Tuesday. (queue for the aces fans to say otherwise). -
Depends how many points you have to play with and what Clegg's new average is. At present he is 4.34. Bailey is 2.00

I don't get chance to mention every pass. Feel free to have a go yourself to see how easy it is to mention everything. -
It's you that are guessing. Have a look at the rules quoted above. Common sense says the team who signed him first SHOULD have priority. If you can quote from the above rules that confirm that go ahead.
-
His average is too high for the NL as you have to start the season with an average under 4.

Plenty of passing. -
Who's comparing him? It's irrelevant who more or less he has progressed in comparison too..... evidence shows he has. Steve was a no hoper 3 pointer for a few years until he had a huge breakthru and has never looked back since. FWIW have never seen the hype over Clegg or the appeal. However even I can argue with the stats that show small and steady progression.
-
Not according to the rules, have you read them? Of course second division club SHOULD have priority.
-
It's evident to anyone that watches speedway regularly that he has progressed. His averages bear that out.
-
as point 3 isn't relevant because he has moved clubs in the 2nd division it becomes point 4 as he is a top flight owned rider. For me. The club who signed him at the start of the season should have the priority. Davey is in no one's class right now. Completely irrelevant as well.

2014 NL 8.58 2015 NL 9.72 PL 3.48 2016 NL 10.08 PL 4.34 Progressed every year so far.
-
He is a Wolves asset so I guess top flight has priority.
-
He progressed well 2nd half of last season . What a daft thing to say.
-
I'm sure Howarth and Newman felt the same at Poole for years. It's a business game. I'd rather we had as many Brits as possible in all teams but they still need to perform or be replaced. Simple. Schlein is a logical signing. Riss struggled in his first season in the UK last season and starts reserve with the Monarchs this year. I doubt he can do any worse than we currently have been getting from our number 6. Greaves probably earned his stay with excellent effort on Tuesday and as the FTR representative. We still have a long wagging tail in reserve.

Poole V Coventry Select. 19/4/17 7.30pm
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
of course discussion is part of the forum! Just pointing out the flaws. Not so. Vaculik rides in the Czech Extraliga (his Slovak team ride in it) so won't be allowed. Likewise Milik. Zagar doesn't have a home league. The Danes are the most affected. Poles have no interest in riding here in the most. -

Aren't some forgetting the Polish rule? All these top guys being discussed still can't come because of the 2 club rule. So there is no chance of either Pawlicki, Zagar, Iversen, MJJ, Vaculik et al coming. -
Ellis was never going to live up to that average either. Hats off to Swindon for taking a risk on him tho. Wolves in the same position with Sqora although I'd rather we signed Ellis as the thought of his good work in 2016 coming to nothing would have been criminal.

Both scored 5 points. Tho that is probably good for him. -
I'm talking ONLY of the GP standard riders tho. Both riders you mentioned are clearly struggling. Got the stats? Grachan, it wasn't a personal attack on Swindon. Just a observation on those riders with ridiculously false averages.
-
The man himself has posted on here. He posted the information. If it proves incorrect you might have a point. Seems 'confirmed' unless it's changed again.
-
So your figures confirm that Fred is the highest averaged rider of the GP standard riders. Doyle still not at the standard anyone would expect. However perhaps on reflection Doyle is doing better than I thought. Thanks Grachan.
