Belle Vue V Coventry Friday 2nd Sep
stevebrum replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
And if you win it you will have earned it. I agree against the Pirates I'd edge it towards them however a final against us you will be favourites given your dominance over us this season long and seemingly the only team that can own us at Monmore. It makes the semi picks interesting! I think the pathetic Bees line up has more to do with it than anything else. -
Wolverhampton V Poole. Elb. 5/9/17
stevebrum replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Personal choice is fine. Plenty of passing opportunities at Wolves and little to do with rider error. It could be one of the main reasons why Wolves is regularly voted best race track. When was the last time a so called better bigger track was voted best race track? I prefer to watch a meeting on a track that is well prepared and offers good race lines and has enough dirt on to allow passing throughout. I couldn't care less what size or length the track is , it's all about the track prep everytime for me. Wolves mastery (or Doc Bridgett to be precise) of track prep makes it what it is. I can imagine the NSS will win the award this season, and rightly so. As for Monday Masters may not be fully fit and he has been a massive part of our success this season so his fitness could have a huge bearing on the meeting. Poole have won often at Monmore in recent seasons so don't buy this 'we generally aren't good at Monmore' line. On paper all of their riders have had great meetings at wolves so could be very dangerous if they all click. Still expect Wolves to score 50 points but Poole are a dangerous team at Wolves. -

And the play offs always make speedway big time as well. -
Poole Vs Belle Vue 1st September 2016

Maybe maybe not. He still picked and choose meetings for others clubs in recent seasons including being sacked for lacking commitment. My point remains that he is a different animal with a Poole jacket on. -
Belle Vue V Coventry Friday 2nd Sep

I rarely stand up for KK but Fricke missing doesn't even itself out! KK is number 1 and more than a point stronger on his average compared to Fricke as 2nd heat leader. The Aces have their number one Zagar to use an extra ride whilst the Bees have to use everyone lower. -

If you can't beat a team bottom but one all season missing there number one then there is no point in dreaming of title glory. -
Poole Vs Belle Vue 1st September 2016
stevebrum replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
KK misses meetings at leisure this season. So is unlikely to be around to have his average altered. He is Poole through and through. The only time he seems to gain consistency and perform on a regular basis is in a Poole jacket. The Bees fans are going overboard about his commitment to them this season yet had missed a 6th of all their meetings! I say some but there are a few that see the real picture about his commitment. -

Shame KK is missing yet another club meeting for individual glory. Should be a standard comfy home win for the Aces. -

Anybody would have to be crazy to suggest Lindgren is having a poor year! KK is 8.04 Lindgren 7.92. -
Points difference I'd imagine.

Poole Vs Belle Vue 1st September 2016
stevebrum replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surprised it was such an easy win. It's like no one wants to carry any real good form into the play offs with such up and down results for all teams in contention. Wolves seem to be the only team with momentum right now. -
it's a win win then. One can hope!

And depends how injured he is and if we have replaced him with Piotr Pawlicki.

Belle Vue have pretty much owned us in the league encounters so would rightly be favourites over 2 legs whether that be a semi or final. Wolves with the woffy factor will be great business for all teams which will make the play offs even bigger than they usually are. Wolves are a danger for any team but belle Vue are still very much the team to beat. -
you as in Poole fans as this is a Poole thread. Didn't look at who I was responding to so my bag you schmuck.
-
What on earth are you babbling on about? The reply was about Chris living in Cornwall because he doesn't. So I said Coventry instead of Rugby. Big deal. No contradiction. However one of us is making way more of a big deal about it.
-
Piotr might be back at Wolves yet if Masters is still injured! You can have the less talented brother.
-
Poole, like Wolves can still make changes due to injuries even tho the deadline for changes has now closed.
-
The question was in reply to Chris living in Cornwall. At least Coventry is closer than a completely different part of the country.

Aah bless , you must be so happy that your great number one lead you into the play offs. Oops. Maybe you might have had more points if he hadn't missed a 6th of your meetings. Wonder which is better, an ever present number one in the play offs I think trumps it. Kasprzak as I've already stated has had a much better year than I expected but you will always see him miss matches and have some poor meetings standard. Correct me if I'm wrong .

Fair point, whilst the best races from Swindon the other week were the wolves highlights.
