  1. That wouldn't even things up as some teams have already ridden B fixtures. So I hope it's looked at at the end of the season is it should be. Otherwise it will help some more than others and that is not fair at all.
  2. PK hasn't replaced a FTR something many don't seem to understand. PK has replaced Bech who isn't wasn't a FTR. It just so happens have his average is lower than Howarth who IS a FTR. The joke would be allowing the reserves to stay in that position for ever more meaning any progress is meaningless when not facing stronger riders. The joke is the BSPA for rushing thru the rules on FTR getting true averages yet leaving them with inflated averages due to still having 2 protected rides. Kurtz, Pedersen, Klindt, Woryna have or are due to ride in reserve NOT because they are FTR.
  3. Gotta say if any newcomers were their tonight they would be back every week to watch racing like that. Credit to Doc and the track staff for preparing a superb track in such warm and humid conditions. I feared it might go slick but Doc and the boys were out every 4 heats preparing a new prepared track - it's not difficult to see why Wolves win as many track awards as they do. Doc is a god! This is one to buy the DVD for, besides the odd strung out heat it was filled with quality racing and credit to both teams for giving us a perfect night of racing in perfect weather (with the perfect result naturally the icing on the cake. As expected Coventry at Monmore are rarely walkovers and after fighting back into the match with the TR I believed they would go on and win it. They were trapping and the wolves boys seemed to be nodding off. As for that TR- as a neutral that was a belter of a race. Garrity as expected given the B/W as KK is as good as hopeless at number one at Monmore. Lo and behold he wins the race with ease such is the enigma that he is. Garrity was in all scoring positions during that race however it looked like his challenge would come to nothing. That said he screamed into the 3rd bend on the last lap and forced Masters wide (he used Masters to slow himself down by pushing into him). Masters had no idea he was there until he was virtually at the 4th bend fence. Certainly was a huge talking point and the home crowd baying for pantomime blood however think the call the to declare the race as it finished was probably the correct one. Would have been harsh to have excluded Garrity but I think everyone in the Wolves camp would have agreed if he did! That certainly inspired a big comeback from the Bees and I feared going into heat 13 however what was I worried about because the former World number 2 did what he normally did and shut off and didn't even attempt to get involved. Lindgren saw off Bomber as well to give us breathing space. And then belief restored with Masters and Jacob riding a superb team pairing to deny King. No Coventry number one in heat 15? Obviously not! However yet more excellent passing and battling upfront and at the back saw me remember why Speedway is the best sport in the world when it's like this. WOLVES FRED - had to battle with King in heat 11 to split the Coventry duo on a 5-1 and as had become the norm ran king wide off the 3rd bend hoping to get Howarth thru. Perfectly fine after Garrity's move In heat 10. Top scored overall and beat Bomber twice. Classic Lindgren.4.5/5 KYLE - quick enough and in the mix.seemed to get spooked by being ahead of KK in heat 1 although he had virtually done the job. 2/5 SAM - quiet score wise but not effort wise. Beat 3 of the bees H/L's in his 4 heats. 3/5 JACOB - rapidly improving and fast becoming a star at Monmore. Beat 2 of the Bees top 3. 4.5/5 MOTM JOONAS - great in heat 7 but otherwise struggled somewhat tonight. 1.5/5 PK - wasn't so sure he would get straight on the pace in his first match but was total class battling for every point. 4/5 MAX - did a decent job in heat 2 but then struggled. 1/5 BEES KK - 5 points from you're number one? Standard KK at Monmore. One easy win the rest total cack. 1/5 Garrity - first race nowhere however was the usual full explosive rider I love watching. One of the stand outs for the visitors. 3.5/5 King - certainly trying hard so can't fault effort . Points didn't reflect effort. 2/5 Woryna - impressed with what I saw, cracking gate in his first race but got outsmarted by 2 Monmore experts so no disgrace. His pass and re pass of PK in heat 9 was sublime. 2/5 Harris- boy was he quick tonight. Not quick enough against super fast Freddie in the last but as always a joy to watch. 4/5 Roynon - did his job and much better than his last Monmore outing. 1.5/5 Sarjeant - no jumps for a change , that was the only real surprise. 1.5/5
  4. Personally unless changes happen then Leicester , Coventry and Kings Lynn will be cast adrift . But plenty can happen at this early mid stage of the season.
  5. Irrelevant, you can't have a rider that has both clubs riding on the same night. That's why cook was initially stopped from signing for Peterborough due to having the same race night as Belle Vue.
  6. Watt can't be as bad as Walasek surely? If the rumours are true regards Watt then like you say anyone that can put in 80% is 79% better at the moment.
  7. Aah soz for that. Thought he did okay at Lakeside tho lol.
  8. What does it honestly matter? The ridiculous rules on averages are to blame. The reserves move up if they get a new average as it should be - how that's been calculated is wrong. Riders have dropped to reserve in the past so what's different this season? Nothing. PK is on a relatively low average for a very real reason. Can't see him (or any rider) at reserve long due to the ridiculous 2 weekly average change.
  9. Have you see Walasek at Monmore recently? One of the worst and least interested riders I've had the misfortune to watch (with Kasprzak a close 2nd).
  10. 1st meeting of the season in the UK tho. It's probably the best time to race against us with PK then. There is no assumption he will come in and clean up in his first meeting anyway.
  11. Cov are always good value but this depends if the former world number 2 scores 4 or 14 if they are going to get anything from this. Always good watching Bomber and Garrity at the Green tho. 52-40
  12. Be prepared to be called names by the troll now tho. I'm sure you will live!
  13. And your posting on a Wolves thread last week? ??? Troll by name, troll by nature. I feel sorry for the sensible Lions fans, what an embarrassment. As for the result, bad luck to the Lions. They are certainly trying hard and showing they can put up a decent fight when all the riders pull together.
  14. The usual vile and aggressive response we have come to expect from the self post liking one.
  15. Let's face it, you are the only one who thinks and sees things different to the rest of the forum. It certainly helps you stand out. In your own mind you know what you are talking about , shame no one believes you tho. But it's certainly only in your mind. Hopefully that should make it clearer for you. (Don't forget to like your own post again tho now won't you)
  16. Not sure that Ludvig is a suitable replacement for Wozniak so likely to weaken the Lions. Can they make it a 100% home record over the Robins? Not sure this time, 45 all.
  17. Rather steady scores than 4 or 14. Each to their own. Oh, and one that hasn't been sacked 3 times either . Bech must be well embarrassed. ... Full stop.
  18. exactly. Don't think the same will apply this year although the season isn't half way thru yet! The same could be said of several of the riders moving down this year. Hopefully common sense will prevail when they look at rectifying averages for next year. Well I can dream. Yes of course, scores of 8, 8, 9, 10 and 10 are very poor. Could be worse, at least it's not 4.
  19. The thing with SCB and Silverbee is that they make posts to be jovial or controversial. Got no real issue with that in the same way it's not my cup of tea either. Any texter deserves some respect because without them it stands good chance that no one else will do it. Texters do this with no reward expected or guaranteed and should have a level of respect for taking the time to provide this service. Silverbee's updates are enjoyed by some and not by others. Such is life.
  20. I don't think that's correct. I don't recall PK saying it but I recall the rumour.
  21. I was being slightly tongue in cheek after the unexpected result on Thursday. I agree Swindon were always a good bet for top 4 although they are either in great form or rather rubbish. Points on the board is important which you are totally correct about.
