  1. Pete Adams confirms on local radio that Robert Lambert is the guest. Excellent.
  2. I think the fact that the match went ahead was a farce too. I hardly miss a home meeting as my updates prove. no need to be such a martyr about attending home meetings. KK looks like if could be 4th time sacked at this rate. Pathetic doesn't cover it.
  3. Maybe try watching it with the telly turned on then. I'd say it is comparable to Wednesdays match (some close racing racing but track conditions not perfect due to weather conditions). I'd say the Berwick match was the worst SKY have ever filmed. And I thought the last time Berwick was on the box was excellent a couple of seasons ago. A totally dull and unprofessional meeting with rider movement making it an embarrassment to watch. Swindon look excellent. Coventry can't be bothered so making it a lacking match as it's gone on.
  4. Why aren't you at Swindon supporting yours? Unable to make it in time not that's it's important.
  5. Not really , just the usual KK. World beater and big points one match, dreadful the next. Normal KK service resumed.
  6. Still 100 times better than last Monday. And all riders staying still at the start. It's called being professional I guess. Did I say that Coventry are pants? not sure if I've mentioned it before.
  7. RR will always work for you or against you. We should be fine at home with all riders able to take rides. Starke I reckon could hit 14+ points tonight and make all the difference to the Lions staying in contention. Not expecting a Swindon type loss to the Lions but should be a routine 50+ home score.
  8. All 3 , and more would move up if the league was an attractive one and suited them financially. Whether any of them do or won't is pure speculation.
  9. Makes no difference what he does or did in the qualifiers. So long as he puts together some decent performances in the GP's for as long as he is in them (he has already done a fair job so far) I reckon he will be a good bet for a wild card. There will be 2 swedes like there is 2 Brits next year (not going into the rights and wrongs of that) . Lindback I reckon is nailed on pending any court case and Jonsson has had his day so lindgren is the next one without any real question.
  10. I think the speedway world said the same thing!
  11. That is the real world I'm on about. Care to explain which part of what teams and riders (including Howarth) do in September is wrong? Go on, have a bash.
  12. Louis has always said he would go back EL with Ippo if it suited the club. Glasgow have made a big thing about moving up. Peterborough have a rich EL history and might depend on the structure of the top flight for them tell reconsider.
  13. I did say it's what the TEAM do in September , not any one rider. And of course you are right that Howarth is and has been a big let down. It's not like it's the first time I've ever mentioned it! we are. the point I also made is it what happens in September that is important and there is plenty of time for Kyle to get back to how he started the season and bring his PL form with him. In my real world it's what happens in September that is important , it's not like we failed to get any points. I'm quite aware you don't inhabit my real world tho!
  14. Wolves should have won, PK let us down, Howarth let us down blahdeblah. Back in the real world however we are still too of the league, in prime position for the play offs and then it matters come September what those riders are scoring. Long live the play offs.
  15. Sense of humour by pass duo. That's why I added the wink at the end. I'm fully aware it's only important what kind of form you are in come September. That is obvious. Only Poole have any significant matches in hand and I can't imagine there is a speedway fan in the UK that thinks Poole will miss the play offs anyway. Happy to be top at this stage with more consistency needed come September. We aren't there yet so at this stage I wouldn't swap our place for any other team.
  16. I don't, same as you don't know he would score as few as last time! Don't worry about our play off chances. Another point and still top of the league. No doubt the bitter ones will tell us how poor we are tonight. I need to sit down before I fall over through laughing too much.
  17. Good point for the Wolves without our star man. Scottie did okay as a guest too. Couldn't care less what he scores in the qualifiers , he will get a wild card next year and deservedly so. Makes no difference what he scored last time. Not even relevant. Poole fans were saying Holder is rubbish at Lakeside yet got 15 last night. So you don't really have a valid point.
  18. Technically we only had the chance to use him because his priority commitment (PL) was postponed but yes we could have used him on the night.
  19. I meant as you might expect from his status as former World Champion and GP standings. They can't and don't.
  20. Hansen was guesting for PK. No idea then why Masters made his way to Manchester then? I'm taking it then if Masters rode they would have to use RR and not use Hansen as a guest?
  21. How can Leicester be allowed to use a rider declared in a side that has now been rained off when Wolves were prevented from doing the same thing 2 weeks ago??? Anyone? ??
