  1. It's debatable if he is 'better' and would be very interested to see if he excels in the EL format (like Janowski or Doyle) or struggles like the rest of the best. Hopefully he will be back in the EL and would be a welcome returnee.
  2. A motivated Lewis is great to have back in the sport. With so few team places left to fill it would make Leicester one of the favourites to sign him. A huge risk unless he is 100% focused.
  3. Time will tell and Lewis of course will race if he wants to and is motivated too. The very recent signs are that he isn't interested so this is a new development that needs watching then!
  4. Hope it's Larsen, be good to see him back in the EL. I feel sorry for you if it's MJJ.
  5. No he couldn't and he isn't riding this year either!
  6. But who? Nicki has said no, Niels the same, Kildemand like Niels has said no. Bjarne is at Lakeside. Other than those who is left? Larsen? MJJ? Neither are number ones are they?
  7. Nobody has or is being 'bullied off the forum'.
  8. To be honest I should have included machinery and bikes as part of the problem. Even at Monmore the quality of racing has dipped slightly in recent years due in part to machinery and engine power. However as ER said that in comparison to a lot of other tracks it's way more consistent than a lot of other tracks.
  9. I don't understand why some are saying the Kings Lynn track needs changing or re-shaping. The track has been excellent for years and it's only in the last couple of seasons that some are saying the racing has been worse. I'd imagine that's down to track prep/surface/quality of shale and not the shape which has given exceptional racing over the recent years.
  10. I used to have a lot on ignore too however the only one (or multi one) I have on permanent ignore is KKS/Morriseyfan/et al. I figured the rest didn't deserve being ignored and that even goes for the eternally attacking pinny who never has anything of relevance to say.
  11. Agreed. A move to the more familiar heat format might help re-adress some of the inbalance in the averages.
  12. Agree that Buzz is wrongly assessed as second string. However in the crazy world of BSPA logic second string Buzz starts as a heat leader whilst heat leader Lindgren starts as a second string. Could they have messed it up anymore?
  13. Thank god the thread was locked straight away then.
  14. It would have been better if nothing was said. Some must believe their posts are actually that important
  15. Only tier 1 riders can move up. Tier 2 are protected. That's been confirmed.
  16. more on a Wednesday??? I can recall 2 or 3. Hardly constitutes more. Who knows what the reason for the Stars changing their race night it certainly was rumoured of if being to suit one rider. Yet the stars run Wednesdays with Danes in their side for how long now?? I'd imagine Mondays and Wednesday or Thursday being the likeliest IMHO.
  17. Wednesdays appear irrelevant even to the Danish riders as the likes of Iversen, Bjerre, Porsing ride Wednesdays here. I agree a lot of supporters want regular speedway and those appear to be happy with any standard. Speedway needs that regularity no matter what country or league you are in. However the chunk of supporters who are dwindling are those that want a strong top flight. That chunk will be virtually lost other than the World Cup and Cardiff which is the point I'm making. The demand is still there as Cardiff proves. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of Speedway, full stop and watch all levels including riding at amateur level. That won't stop even if the EL is no more. That said I will become a casual supporter like so many before me. Plus of course we will lose any credibility as a sport by having no top level league. Same for any sport. Take away the Premier league Football league and the sport would lose any credibility and a massive chunk of it's support. you can't have a meeting on a Monday to suit SKY unless Monday is one of the fixed nights which id imagine is a big possibility. Otherwise it would be a 3 day league which appears it has already been agreed 2 days are happening next year. SKY certainly have run some Tuesdays and Wednesdays but it appears Monday is the night that suits them best. Mess with that at your peril I say. We need SKY.
  18. I've only read that speedway isn't being considered for 2016, racing presumably.
  19. and time to wave goodbye to a large chunk of supporters too. the Cardiff GP proves that people want to watch the top boys racing. To suggest we don't need them in the UK is total tosh. Interesting comment about Fridays on none GP weeks. However Mondays are SKY nights and the riders would rush back knowing they will get exposure on TV IMHO. Are the promoters really considering dropping Mondays and SKY backing? I don't think so!!
  20. I doubt Friday is an option given how many PL teams run on Friday, plus clashes with GP's would be ridiculous. Wednesday and one of Monday/Thursday I would imagine are logical. However it's down to the promoters or more importantly the greyhound/non stand alone tracks.
  21. It's nothing like a fan asking something at all. Adams and other EL promoters speak to the top boys all the time about racing over here. And I'm sure they have a more professional relationship with the top boys than a casual fan. However you make a valid point that I'm not convinced either that all the top boys will suddenly appear in 2017. That could only be a pipe dream. However 2 set days is better than what currently doesn't work for most of the top boys. Some will be interested but until we fall in line with the rest of Europe it won't entice everyone.
