yet the constant comments means you too have resulted in the usual. Arguing for the sake. It's good to know nothing changes. Well done to you for adding so much positivity to a Swindon thread. North was still a Swindon (you know who's thread this is for?) Rider up till today. It's the most relevant place to discuss reasons why North isn't coming over. Likewise let the Swindon folk have their thread back, not that it ever went off Swindon orientated topic. But at least you added your thoughts.

It was skidder that I replied to 1355, like I say blinkered. Just what is it that I 'instigated'? I made a comment that some people didn't believe his dad's injury was as bad as it was. stop me if I'm wrong. If you are sensitive over the comments then I can't help that I'm afraid. Don't forget to mention it was post 1355 by Skidder that I initially relied too 'for bringing up an old argument'. No one is arguing. Well not until you took offence at a simple reply.

Since when has it been confirmed Barker has signed?

It works perfectly. Obviously in the short to mid term.

I'm not saying that clubs can afford it, I'm just quoting what CVS said. Don't shoot the messenger!

Same as they do in Poland and Sweden! As CVS explained whilst it's expected that job shares will be to entice top riders for less matches he did say there is no reason why all other positions can't share too. Certainly is a good idea when trying to avoid doubling up riders missing too many matches if you can another rider to cover matches that is a squad member. It happens in Sweden and Poland that teams have a bigger squad than they have team places for. Sounds a sensible idea to me.

I'm absolutely certain that there will be a money element to any of the riders for signing contracts so in that instance I'm sure PK is no different. Of course some people on here are 'in the know' and likewise having been told information in the past I too haven't posted such details either so maybe there is more in it than meets the eye. Again reading between the lines CVS spoke about PK 'not being keen' on a full season may have as much to do with cutting down his schedule as much as it is being offered the right deal to stay. Even tho it appeared from team building purposes (as it was in November) he was only a stand by for Wolves 2016.

Bug you could apply that logic to any of the PL days then!

But isn't he on record saying he will do everything in his power to ensure the bees fans will have a new track? One would assume this site and move has his backing unless he was just giving a smoke screen to the bees fans to look good?

Ipswich have said they would come back to the EL when it suited. Sheffield under new promotion (since Machin who was against moving up) could also. Glasgow I have read would move up. So perhaps the BSPA already know that Thursday is best because of the Thursday teams wanting to move up. It's a big risk for ALL EL tracks to move off their usual race nights. However to do nothing and allow the league to get any weaker is the worst possible thing to do.

It was daytripper who responded to my post saying flagrag stated he wants fixed points money to Start the season which isn't what he said at all. Like you said he/you were referring to one meeting as a guest. I've read nothing other than Peter not wanting to start 2016 in the UK.

Absolutely correct. Cook is clearly acting out of self interest which is no surprise. How on earth can any EL promoter think that Friday is a good idea given that several PL teams ride on that day plus how on earth is that a tempter for top class riders who have GP practice on that day also every 2 or 3 weeks? Plain crazy. Mondays and Wednesdays would be best as far as minimising clashes with PL although it seems clear that Thursday is one of the set days given that the Stars have changed there race night. That said, how does that affect Sheffield and Ipswich? I can't see either team altering their race nights.

Where is the link that Peter has said that? I've read only that he doesn't want to start 2016 in the UK. Obviously if I have missed that statement then I stand corrected.

Peter isn't interested in starting in UK this season. If he was he would have signed by now.
