With the change of night for a rumoured Danish rider surely it would favour someone other than Bjerre? Let's hope for the Stars that's the case. Is there anyone on the draft list with a converted average as high as 5.94 anyway? Howarth I believe on 5.51 is the highest.
-
Mads is 5.95 I believe.

You would have to be an extremely brave person to predict a good year for him on the back of one of his worst ever seasons worldwide. As I have stated before Cov fans will need him to have a good year otherwise it could be a long year. As is the usual with KK is the EL, no one knows what to expect.

With ease and the stats back that up. How many of the top or so called top boys have improved their averages since the new race format was introduced? ? Doyle? Yes, Janowski? Yes. Piotr Pawlicki? From an assessed one yes. then im struggling. Given the 2015 he has had if he can hold a 6 point average he will have done as well as the majority of the heat leaders.

CVS spoke about it at the talk in as a response to questions about the rules and the transparency of them (certainly one of my questions) the rules had to be charged every year from stopping the same promotions trying to break them every year. Each rule therefore cancels out one cheat. I think the bit about transparency got ignored!

Live Match Streaming For Armchair Fans?
stevebrum replied to heathen chemistry's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Of course all older folk have I-phones  -
No rider who is better than howarth should be even considered. Lakeside clearly had knew that Blackbird was considering a comeback and would have known prior to the draft this information I'd imagine. I feel for Kings Lynn however this is all of there own making so no special considerations should be considered in reality.
-
You could say why would you sign an asset from the list and declare you are racing on a Wednesday (assuming that at best the BSPA and riders signed were told of possibility) and then change the race night knowing that your own asset has already signed for a Thursday night track as the true farce. no it isn't fair that Kings Lynn so far haven't signed an adequate replacement for Kerr and it wouldn't be fair if a 'superior' rider was added to the list to suit just one club. You could say it feels almost orchestrated if Chapman is able to sign Barker (as an example) and could sound like an abuse of power. Hopefully something sensible is sorted and assuming Blackbird hasn't 'stayed retired' he could move across as the replacement.
-
He might, Doyle did.
-
From the opening post I quoted it appeared so. And you would be unhappy If barker was on the list and selected by Swindon?
-
Howarth was in the list a point you seem to have ignored. The rights and wrongs of which riders should be on the list is a different topic. I'd prefer British riders on the draft list that can't get a 1-5 starting line up so riders that want to ride EL can. However that might mean delaying the draft draw. No doubt you wouldn't complain if Barker was on the list and Swindon were able to select him.
-
Hopefully it will be someone like both Larsen and Sundstrom.
-
Never gonna happen, would be a complete bias farce if so.
-
Thought you had enough points left for 2 heat leaders? I'm assuming that Walasek would start as 3rd heat leader and Wozniak 2nd string? If You can't find a rider higher than Wozniak for one of those roles it's going to be another long season ahead!
-
You used other riders in some odd analogy about the Wolves team (who ride in the EL last time I looked) I quoted the post you made as part of this discussion. Now to stop yourself from further embarrassment just drop it and move on. Agreed. Rarely had a remotely interesting conversation but to me it was and is a very simple point, completely ignored by BWitcher to try and do his usual point scoring exercise. My point was ONLY about what riders do in the EL, complicated completely by BWitcher trying to compare scores abroad which have no real relevance to for in the EL.
-
That's it, keep comparing averages abroad. Completely irrelevant to the EL/race format. Time to move on unless of course you want to ensure that you have the last word that you believe is the only correct one. Move along .
-
Why do you persist on ignoring stuff you have already posted and make yourself look even sillier ? I had already quoted the post YOU brought other riders into the discussion and even included it in the post you just replied to. Just to be clear it's the 1ST post I have yet again highlighted you made. I made the point that you were one of two things , at least I now know it's called selective reading. At least it explains a lot about the majority of your posts. It might be best to read mine AND your own posts before replying but far from it from me to point out out you're glaring weaknesses. Now back to Larsen for clarity. On starting average he is on a higher average than any of the Wolves line up. How he will cope with the new heat format is clearly debatable (given the experience of those before him as evidence). Hopefully that's the end of it. Meaning it won't be.
-
In your opinion as per which is debatable. It was YOU that brought other riders into a topic but as usual ignored. Bringing in other riders and countries despite my discussion on EL matters only. Plus you ignored my question which proves you either don't read posts properly or ignore them because you don't have a valid reply. At least we know one of those will be true.

Sky meetings are 2 hours. No idea where you got the extra half hour from. It's been 2 hrs for years. It's only about 10-20 minutes longer.
-
As per usual missing my point .The opinion is nothing to do with Europe as already explained. Yet you ignore that point conveniently. It would be interesting how the examples you used faired with the current format give how the likes of woffy, holder as example struggle with it. The ONLY acid test and proof would be them taking part in it and NOT use of averages as any kind of relevant proof. So a question, do you believe the likes of Hampel, Emil, Nicki, Vaculik would fair better in the CURRENT EL FORMAT that the likes of Woffy and Holder (and any of the top boys racing here) struggled and why?? As for Larsen, I'd have been delighted if he had signed for Wolves this year as he should be a great addition to any side. No doubt if he outscores his average you will be gloating you were right all along. You better not hope he struggles likes the majority of the EL heat leaders do, start squirming if that's the case.
-
Of course it's debatable. Comparing averages abroad only gives a flavour of what we should expect. As already pointed out many of the top boys have struggled in the EL since the new race format was introduced. If he signs for a UK team we will see if he stands out or struggles like the majority of so called class riders.
-
It's debatable if he is 'better' and would be very interested to see if he excels in the EL format (like Janowski or Doyle) or struggles like the rest of the best. Hopefully he will be back in the EL and would be a welcome returnee.
-
Where has he ridden as a number one?
-
Double commiserations then!

A motivated Lewis is great to have back in the sport. With so few team places left to fill it would make Leicester one of the favourites to sign him. A huge risk unless he is 100% focused.
