  1. To some decent Robins it's just banter indeed.
  2. You have to be joking, even Wolves won there!
  3. How useless is AJ when the pressure is on?
  4. Think I made my opinion very clear. I used to have a lot of time for Swindon and admired their more recent surge as one of the consistently better teams. That said I think I've been consistent with my views on teams 'dropping or manipulating' averages and have given Poole many a hard time over the same sort if issues. I believe I have remained fair in that I have said consistently that Poole are playing things by the book this year and besides Coventry are the stand out sides and that they already have a team to take the title this year. It's been a while since I've been called a 'Poole hater' and rightly so. I give praise where it is due. Funny how ward couldn't sign because you had 2 riders over 7 yet suddenly Batch had some engine issues and low and behold he falls below 7, think you know the rest. He has been average all year, but amazing only had mechanical issues until his average fell low enough. Nothing wrong with that then. :nono: Likes it at Swindon, LOVES it at Poole.
  5. Poland declare a result well before heat 10 whilst in Sweden it after heat 8! The rule is a sensible one given the nature of the weather in recent years. I don't see the Poles and Swedes moaning about abandoned meetings. But then they probably moan less than your average UK Speedway fan!
  6. 5th - 8th don't make the play offs which by any definition is a failure to reach a minimum target of a play off place at the start of the season.I'd say that any club in those positions have failed to have a good season. Bottom is awful (which Leicester know about) yet 5th is still dire. Just to add good luck to the Hammers tonight.
  7. More to do with deliberate lowering of averages which to me is just as bad flaunting the rulebook. Worse even. Quoted twice for an answer I see. I don't hate Swindon in fact I have admired there recent climb to being one of the better sides in recent years.
  8. They are good enough too I meant but I think the Aces are the stronger of the 2 sides looking for a top 4 place. I have Aces friends so I'd rather see them in the play offs also, plus of course they have also played by the rulebook this year.
  9. I would, mostly Swindon away matches besides Wolves. I've got used to watching rubbish following Wolves this year so I recognise it very well.
  10. Hardly a convincing win for the Robins, good effort from the Hammers.
  11. No doubt Leicester, Wolves and the Robins will probably have the same thing in common come September. Bottom or 5th us just as poor.
  12. Don't forget the basement dwelling East Midlands side.. oops they already lost their once.
  13. Surely if the Robins have any real credentials for the play offs this is a must win match?
  14. You must have been so proud of the boys last night. That's the spirit, keep the faith and belief you are good enough for the play offs. Well done to Poole on beating an average side last night.
  15. Good win for the Aces, back in the top 4 where they belong.
  16. I got shot down for daring to suggest Poole would walk it and that Swindon are gash away from home.
  17. I see the bragging Swindon fans are quiet since last night.
  18. mine have already gone, won't be long before the Robins dreams are finished. Beating Wolves has given you false belief. It's clear against sides much better than Wolves the Robins are fodder. without question yes. The easiest prediction I've made this week. Was never in doubt.
  19. Apparently playing to great crowds is a sin to those that knock the play offs.
