Norris was good value when he did it and you are right the new woman came across well last week. Certainly professional. Let's face it with live broadcasts there is always going to be 'padding' and repetition so anyone else will face the same obstacles, I'm just happy to have knowledgeable speedway people involved.
-
Maybe I'm on my own but I like the expert speedway knowledge they bring and like the over the top exuberance. Be careful what you wish for. Besides Suzy Perry and Julie Bradbury (I think that was her name who did channel 4 GP highlights) and to a lesser extent Tony Mullard there hasn't been one other presenter with any relevant speedway knowledge and unless you understand the sport it will be a total car crash - anyone remember the Eurosport guy who soon got ditched after a few meetings? Expertise is the over riding key which both Kelvin and Nigel have in abundance.

Coventry V Wolves Friday 10th July

Agreed we should be doing more, it's no fluke that attendances have fallen with each missing star rider. Without them we don't have a league with any credibility and only a small hardcore prepared to accept a dumbed down league . Instead of accepting riders won't come /too many matches /too many different race nights those charged with looking after our sport just do nothing. It's probably too late now but we should be making the changes to fall in line with the leagues that actually work and thrive ie Poland/Sweden/Denmark. Up the Aces. -

Plus there are way more one sided meetings in the PL. Those who brag PL Is better are sadly blinkered. Season after season there are clubs struggling to make ends meet. Workington, Glasgow and Edinburgh in recent seasons and now Scunthorpe are close to closing. The hand picked SKY matches generally offer good racing however that is not the general standard, which is no different to the EL. We already have the weakest and most watered down EL/top flight probably in history and it needs no further dumbing down. Amalgamation has already been tried and failed. There is no difference for next season either. -

I really hope not. Downgrading the product even further, weakening it even more and becomes a league with no credibility whatsoever. As proved in 96, it's destined for failure. -
No points for Swindon, every cloud and all that.
-
Mon the Lions.

Plenty said it on social media, wrongly. No wonder some clubs struggle to get people too attend anymore. Sad.
-
Call a match off when the track was raceable from heat 1?? No wonder the sport stinks more and more with each passing season.

Lakeside Select V Belle Vue Select

Shame that the Aces had to travel weakened because this was surely a targeted away win for them. Hope it doesn't come back and bite them come play off time. -
Absolutely, which was always my point. When SKY are in town and the weather is iffy the minimum requirement on all parties is surely to get to Heat 10? The fans in the stadium, the viewers watching and SKY surely deserve that? I don't subscribe to the point that the meeting shouldn't have started however. The track was OK to start with. All efforts should be made by BOTH teams and ALL riders that if a meeting starts they should endeavour to try and get to heat 10 without making the sport look even more ridiculous.

Cinderella you have been sleeping too long. Haven't had a good thing to say about this team for a month or more. Glad you are awake now. -

Or just a realist! -
Poole got accused at the time for getting it thru to heat 10, nothing wrong with my memory. Nothing to do with yesterday's meeting however.

The fans are now used to it. Just waiting for the next PR spin 'must win match, riders need confidence'. ENOUGH. Let me know when it's 2016 please. -

We have scored more than 20 so far, that's a result! I was right sadly. If there was any faith left then it's been squeezed dry by this pathetic set of Wolves 1-7. -
Cannot believe it's even got to the stage it has. Poole did nothing wrong.

Should Rosco Still Be Team Gb Manager

There are a few developing nicely on the youth stage and lower tiers. Zach Wajtknecht could be the next one on the big stage in a year or two. Something very special about him. -

You obviously haven't watched us a lot recently. 40 points would almost be like an away win with this lot recently.
