  1. The guests they used against Wolves certainly made them stronger, seems a coincidence the more guests the better the result! Difficult to know if Leicester were that much better or Swindon much poorer/average dropping.
  2. 2 meetings in quick succession having 'set up' issues , particularly when you need to lower averages to fit someone is is dodgy to say the least. Troy IMHO is no different than usual, flatters to decieve.
  3. An argument used often but I don't buy it. Swedish and Polish league teams are way stronger and no such thing as an easy heat either.
  4. So are Swindon just fodder,as they looked last night (all season) or is it more points lowering for Darcy? At least we know it's one of them. : It's good to see Leicester winning again with guests doing the business for them.
  5. No doubt you will be saying the same about all the accusations thrown at Poole over the years then.
  6. Well done the Aces, the rightful 4th place team.
  7. Thanks, unlike some I give respect where it is due. Look who does the updates DOH. They say the truth hurts i guess.
  8. You got it the wrong way round Gemini! If we bring in Ward you might have a point. Except it's to cheating bound Swindon #swindonthenewpoole. You clearly missed my prediction early in the thread - already predicted a Bees 4 pointer. We have already throw the towel in like me! Well can it get any worse?? Billed as a 'must win' match (2 weeks ago maybe but no one is buying that spin any more) we had to show some desire and passion and for the 1st half I actually believed we were the side I saw promise in from the 1st 3rd of the season and it looked like the Bees were self imploding in front of our eyes (that would have been a pretty sight all the same!) Then the Bees came back hard and once Garrity had sorted his head out it made all the difference. In the 2nd half the Bees were that much stronger and we were much poorer, its a simple as that. The only positive I can take is that the Bees are awesome away this year and I had already predicted a big away win but I didn't expect such a fall from grace after dominating the 1st half. When your 3 heat leaders manage 11 between them and no race wins it's amazing to think we had an 8 point lead at one stage! Thank god for Ricky, Josh and to a lesser extent Lewis and Jacob. At least they show Except some fight and passion. words fail me for the other 3. It's easy to see why the Bees are one step away from the play off final already. Besides Poole they are head and shoulder above the other lightweights. They came, they won, we expected it. WOLVES FRED - looked quick enough in his first 2 but then disappeared. Bit like his average. 1/5 JACOB - struggles when the Track gets slicker but earned his place in the noms. 3/5 TOBBY - just couldn't ride the track and nearly threw away his only point by locking up too hard. 0.5/5 RICKY - will be tougher when he moves to heat leader although he was the only Wolf to beat Joonas, why no heat 15? 3.5/5 PK - never looked like winning a heat, similar to Freddie. Time to retire the old man. 1.5/5 LEWIS - started superbly but then got outdone by his superior reserve counterpart. 2.5/5 JOSH - great night for the lad with some determined riding and battling skills, that sort of performance from the number should win you the match he got let down by the rest.3.5/5 MOTM COV Hans - after a faltering start was untouchable, yet some Bees fans still want to give him stick shallow. 4.5/5 Robbo - not the usual battling qualities we expect at Monmore. Off night. 1.5/5 Joonas - seems to have remembered his way around Monmore again. Superb 4.5/5 Danny - apparently Britain's number 3 , was a one race wonder. 1/5 Bomber - total class and untouchable. 5/5 Garrity - shocking 1st half then got his head together. 2.5/5 Sarjeant - did his job in the 12th, otherwise ordinary. 1.5/5
  9. And stevebrum would be missing from the terraces!
  10. And let KK score poorly so he could go back to Poole in the future on a much lower average?? NO THANKS. I'd rather carry on using an asset of the club, although so long as it's not that dirty Dane instead!
  11. [quote The trouble is that Lindgren, Karlsson, Wells and Musielak on a new average leaves around 8 points for the last place which could point to Kasprzak or Lindback as possible new signings if they are to look at the play offs win or lose here. kasprzak ?? Kasprzak?? He is the one rider that we or any club do not need to sign. He has no interest in trying in the EL and us bang out of form this year. He won't be the answer to any club.
  12. And largely down to whether Freddie and Co have any fight in them.
  13. Another set of engine failures and dodgy performances again for the Robins? Should be an away win.
  14. You have been doing it all season long, what's different?
  15. Be interesting to see how the likely 4th play off side goes against the Pirates. A narrow win 47-43.
  16. Remember the bottom 4 dont qualify for the play offs, you will be keeping us company : The expected result and performance from the leagues worst team (you just know Steve0 won't resist)
  17. Less routine than I thought but I got the nicking a point bit right! :
  18. Well I can't say anything bad can I this year lol Give me time tho :
  19. Should be a routine 3 pointer for the Bees, can see the Aces nicking a point as they March on to securing 4th place.
  20. Had a chance to watch the match and it was a decent 2 hours. Racing more processional than usual from Peterborough and a lot of races spread out however the great ones made up for that. Simon Lambert the real surprise and match winner too.
  21. I pretty much agree with that. Poole and Bees clear ahead. Stars strong in 3rd but nowhere near as strong as last year but I think the inconsistencies of the rest makes 3rd a safe one. Aces look the next most likely however I think the team in 4th is the lightweight team anyway. Obviously things may change when a certain Aussie signs for someone. Robert for me is the rider of the season.
