Very few to call it a celebration I'd imagine. Is it 2016 yet? -

Losing is the only thing we have been doing very well at. -

Sadly we are 'sticking with it' that's why we couldn't win a goldfish in an empty bowl. -

2 predictions I think will be correct. 1. Wolves will continue the losing streak. 2. The terraces will be barren. Season is over for me that's the only certainty. -
I'd say it was more of a rarity than the norm to have a meeting rained off tho. Hence why the crowds knew where they stood most of the times.
-
You never got call offs back in the 70s, hence the difference. You knew that speedway would be on. Apparently riding bikes with no breaks back then wasn't dangerous , it only is today.
-
Absolutely. It's one of the reasons why the sport is dying. Any threat of rain and riders automatically go into won't ride mode. Likewise fans don't bother to go either because it's unlikely a match will start or will they get value for money. The riders and promotions are turning the sport into a good weather sport only. The track looked OK, not perfect and nor should it have it expected to be. It was also expected to be only 10 heats and those few who attended probably expected it. It's the hypocrisy of the coventry promotion tho that brought about this issue, yet don't moan when they have won a meeting over 10 heats, No wonder it was thrown out.
-
What was wrong with the track from heat 1?? Was it perfect? No. Was it raceable? Evidently. Thank god this ridiculous attempt to get a re staging has been put to bed . The only nonsense was trying to get the meeting overturned in the first place. It seems only Coventry didn't think it should go 10 heats, but are quite happy to get a match to heat 10 when it suits. Will it be put to bed? Nah I doubt it either. Correct decision.

better to be crap than cheat with iffy engine failures , we scored 7 points more than usual so nearly a result. Roll on 2016. In fairness PK IS a heat leader in this league and so he should be. Surely he must be asking the question how much longer? He was a heat leader masquerading as a second string and nothing has really changed from last season now. 37 points is an improvement but just goes to show there is no fight left, we have already given up.
-
And probably can still make the play offs!
-
Surely not as many as 35??? :

I was being sarcastic. Our only battle is to avoid finishing bottom. Our season is already over.
-
If our boys rode to potential we would be in the play offs. :

Coventry V Wolves Friday 10th July

For the less intellect , the ref made all the right decisions. -
Another 60 point home win.

It's job done now. Swindon needed to get Batch's average below 7 to fit Ward in and who would have guessed it lots of engine problems , an average below 7 and Ward signs. No doubt swindon fans will say it's just a coincidence. No more engine issues for Troy? Who would have thought! In the real world cheats are cheats. Come on Poole.
