I hope not.

I wish that were the case too. I’d love to see Freddie back as well. Im surprised he is giving his own countries league a miss but it appears top riders are going the same way as the UK top flight as more and more are leaving the Swedish league. Sadly I think Fred is lost to the UK scene now he is an established world title contender. Such a shame as he always seemed to be a rider keen to ride as much as possible which would have given the UK league a chance of an appearance but a lot of the top boys now seem happy with the GPs and Poland.

Premiership Final Averages 1-49

Denmark operate a grading system and appears to work very well. -
Well according to the GB site they have moved up subject to confirmation at the AGM. That’s the announcement! Of course the reality is nothing is official till the AGM anyway.
-
Accepted but to be confirmed at the AGM.
-
Same as this year with BT.

Kemp is nowhere near top level standard. After watching him in 2018 i thought he would have already been. One of the most exciting young talents in a long time. Reality hit him big time. Even in the 3rd tier he went backwards a little. Struggled for an level of consistency in the 2nd tier and wasn’t surprised he was replaced when Sheffield tried to improve. like a lot of good 3rd tier riders this season they have found the step up to 2nd tier very hard, forcing some to drop out.

I thought the announcement of meetings covered would be the same as this year on BT, including the play offs so not likely to be weekly unless they start coverage late on.
-
Also can’t see him doing a full season in the UK as well, although in fairness he was one of only a handful that stayed when others left (along with Doyle, Freddie, Zagar) in most recent seasons.
-
Could have been costly tho if you lost that meeting to Swindon so that one meeting seemed a vital one! Id agree we won’t know what might have happened without the changes however my only take on that is that Ippo seemed out of form going into the play offs which is never a good thing. The Iversen factor may have changed belief and the victory over Poole seems to back that up. But the reality is we don’t know what might have happened without the changes.
-
The changes absolutely sealed Ipswich’s place in the top 4 and final. They were in freefall until he was signed. Without him they were highly likely to miss out on the top 4. Still on a highly attractive average I can’t believe any team wouldn’t want to build a team around him. Quality number one in a poor strength league.

All riders bar Swedes.

If a choice I think he’d choose Sheffield. If this proves true.

Berwick, Sheffield and Kent.

Exactly. Plus it won’t stop the whingers having something else to moan about as their default setting. Has to be preferred night racing to get the local fans back. whilst fixed night racing has cured the riders missing situation the bigger picture has seen more and more clubs close and struggle to get crowds to attend. -

Seems obvious that the comment by CVS is starting to come to reality. Sheffield make perfect sense to go top flight, assuming it’s been bought as well. -
Would be 10 as Glasgow have stated they want to move up as well.
-
I’d imagine so yes. At least they tried tho.
-
Apparently he said he wanted to ‘put right’ the wrongs from this year back at Wolves again. we know they all say the same so let’s see what happens.
-
Who are your top five riders in 2019.
stevebrum replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yes of course, only Jacob lost it for the Wolves in the play offs. So basically you got it wrong. in all honesty I bet there wasn’t one person who predicted different at the start of the season.
