  1. Can’t say I read that, and as a Wolves fan I’d think I would have noticed. Peter Adams must disagree then, as he has described him as inspirational at times and has been a main stay at Wolves for a few seasons. And he could possibly be the captain of the new league winners in 3 weeks time. Never had much time for him in the past but my opinion on him as changed. Has been a pretty decent rider and captain for Wolves.
  2. Fair enough. I grant you it isn’t a KO Cup type final and it’s good to see the the Aces fans have much higher expectations these days given how bottom place was common place at Kirky. A facility like the NSS needs a team capable of challenging for honours too.
  3. The promoters don’t want a bigger league because some of them are selfish plus some of the riders have openly said they need 2 leagues to survive so you would lose several to retirement as well.
  4. Poole are on a winning streak so don’t try and fool anyone into thinking that your team isn’t equally as strong. id imagine the bookies will agree that Poole are the favourites. None of us know what Ipswich will do over 2 legs with Play Off king Harris either!
  5. Won’t happen. Too many selfish 2nd tier teams that have no ambition or cut their cloth accordingly. No other credible league has that many teams. The top league in the World has 8 (Poland) whilst Sweden have 1 more. No other league has more teams.
  6. Harris as expected a poor guest for MPT. 2 sides got lucky this week at Kings Lynn. Congratulations to the Pirates for topping the table.
  7. Top of the league so the team to beat then. The other 3 teams need to beat the table toppers who have been the best side all season long. Lets hope we don’t get the usual suspects playing down your title credentials now, eh Steve?
  8. Well done to the Panthers for finishing off their 2019 programme with a win. A nothing meeting for Wolves either way.
  9. I fail to see the similarity. Ive seen riders missing due to partners giving birth which is without question a special dispensation. failing to arrive in time for a meeting or not being able to is no way similar in the slightest!
  10. You said you would only comment on the track when you have watched the meeting you recorded. If you have can you confirm what 100% of all posters from Poole and others clubs have said about how bumpy it is. Acknowledged by Holder and Hawkins. Sorry Steve, hopefully the Wolves boys will keep themselves safe for next week tho and refuse.
  11. When you have watched it perhaps you can agree with everyone else then? Nice little quote to describe the track. One of the many bumps and waves. Thought you could only use riders from non Play Off teams so absolutely not. The base has been the issue for years, that’s why it’s been as bad as it has for so long. Just goes to show the blading they did after the track was clearly too dangerous to ride was just yet another quick fix. Josh the only one who knows how to ride the track. It’s always by the fence by the halfway stage. Pretty dull meeting due to the track as well.
  12. He obviously couldn’t see the ruts and waves on the track walk. Bouncy and wavy right from heat 1. Nowhere near as bad as the travesty of a track earlier in the year but still it’s no wonder racing has been processional (watching recorded so only on heat 2).
  13. If Ipswich had limped into the PO’s without changes I’d have said they would be rank outsiders however by bringing in a quality number one it would be foolish to write them off.
  14. Yet have won at Wolves this season. Evenly balanced if that’s the draw. Poole are THE most dangerous team when it comes to the Play Offs. Can’t believe any team would choose them if they had the choice.
  15. As should any foreigner wanting to ride over here. If they are good enough to ride in another country the minimum should never be less than 4.
  16. You only have to ask one of your fans who said that it was being discussed by those ‘in the know’ that Wells had asked to be stepped down. A ridiculous rumour gets ridiculous accusations. Nothing to apologise for by anyone.
  17. Shov himself thinks guests would make you stronger, as you can see by his response above.
  18. When a rider is struggling any rider makes them stronger. A strong rumour that you admit you got completely wrong I guess? It’s a shame some of your own supporters posted bull rubbish in the first place. As expected, Wells is fit enough to ride which was evident from his score last night!
  19. Poole had the perfect chance to get rid of Wells before the deadline cut off which would have been the correct thing to do. I fail to see how some Poole fans think its perfectly ok for Wells to suddenly decide to be able to drop his PL commitments but be fine for his CL ones. If he is fit for one league he is fit for both. Maybe he is riding with an injury, that’s no excuse however. Other riders are currently riding injured and will get rest and or surgery once the season has finished. No rider can pick and choose which meetings to ride in, especially when they have contracts and commitments to 2 clubs in the UK. Id suggest that it would suit Poole to be able to use guests because it would strengthen them somewhat however the fact that it stinks seems lost on some. If Wells is fit to score well on Friday he will be fine to ride for Poole next week, no excuses.
