  1. Ditto quite a few top level fans, worst news possible.
  2. Looks like it’s finally going to happen tonight. I just hope the boys are ready. Personally I think we need a 10 point lead.
  3. I hope that’s true, would be the final nail in being a credible force in Europe and around the world.
  4. There are no more official league meetings to take place as all have been ridden so PSC, POs won’t count so official 1st October averages on the right will be pretty much the final averages. Dont think any of the PSC matches counted for averages? Pretty sure they didn’t.
  5. With no league matches left to play I’d assume those averages for 1st October be issued as final averages. No league matches left to run, and play offs and Supporters Cup don’t count.
  6. If you check those averages they have the ‘new’ averages for October which are valid now. http://www.speedwaygb.co.uk/files/downloads/p19_issue_25.pdf
  7. I’m sure he had good seasons for Cov, Aces, Poole and Lakeside. Didn’t stop them sacking him tho! No, off night is Wednesday.
  8. As we all know, it can be anything dependant on what logic the BSPA use.
  9. I didn’t say every club dumped him. Just that 4 clubs dropped him 5 times. I guess that’s the issue you didn’t get.
  10. We have no indication what the points limit for 2020 will be.
  11. He said he came to Wolves to help him ride smaller and tighter tracks, but is enjoying his time with Wolves. He will go wherever he wants and suits him best next season. I’m sure he will probably have every top flight club after him. No reason why he wouldn’t stay at Wolves either.
  12. I’m surprised. But thanks for sharing that. However his lack of commitment saw Coventry (twice), Poole, Lakeside and Birmingham sack him tho!
  13. That’s the one. When he rode for Cov. I’m convinced he didn’t, I’d have been more surprised if he did put his UK club first!
  14. League programme is finished so play offs don’t count towards averages. Fallen to 6.30 from 6.57 since last averages changed. Id assume 6.30 is his starting average then.
  15. My criteria would be clear tho. If they are good enough to ride in the top tier then they deserve a higher assessment. your point obviously shows up some flaws in that. Riders new to the top tiers or at second string in the top flights of Poland and Sweden maybe unfairly judged so surely there is a sensible way around that? RIDERS WHO HAVE MISSED A FULL UK SEASON OR NEW TO UK RACING - Riders who ridden in the GP in the past 2 seasons and/or have a Swedish or Polish top tier average of over 7.50 automatically get an 8 average in the UK. Riders who have a Swedish or Polish top average under 7.50 automatically get a 7.00 UK average. Riders who have a Polish 2nd tier average automatically get a 6.00 UK average -Riders who have ridden in the UK previously or have never ridden in the UK (none British) get a minimum 5.00 average. No exemptions.
  16. I’m sure I remember riders missing meetings here for an awards show in Poland (wasn’t it Ward or someone like that?) a few years back. Dont think it will matter to the Poles when anyone races if they want first call on them. As wrong as that is.
  17. The assumption from the original post is that anyone missing a couple of seasons racing here should be reassessed and lower. That of course is nonsense. The league is getting weaker year on year so anyone missing a year here should be reassessed in line with where they are riding in Europe. Anyone racing in Swedish and Polish top tier should always be minimum of 8 for new or returning riders. Its not that hard to implement. As explained above I agree and ditto Holder. The fact he has ridden in top tier in Poland this season should mean a minimum of 8 in the UK, ditto the others also mentioned. i know reductions are a different scenario. I fail to see any reason why someone like Holder would fall into a reduction category.
  18. Ridiculous if considered. If so we demand reassessments for Freddie, Tai and Piotr Pawlicki.
  19. And Chris still isn’t a number one in the UK anymore either.
