  1. Exactly. Starts with a bang and soon turns to a whimper. Very odd why he let Leicester down on the eve of the season but suddenly ok to pick and choose and drop his clubs. He certainly made the difference to Oxford yesterday. Hopefully someone will take a chance on Gusts and he comes good just while Cook goes missing yet again.
  2. As expected the Aces dreadful on the road.
  3. Not sure how to rate the new Tigers line up. would have had it as double Tigers win before the changes. narrow home win for Aces, easy home win for Tigers.
  4. I believe it’s Birminghams last year at Perry Barr as it stands.
  5. And was scoring well abroad at that time too. Something which he has been doing since 2024. It’s like nothing has changed so my point remains.
  6. MJJ is doing what he always does. Throws in the odd decent meeting but usually has mediocre meetings with the odd decent ride when he can be bothered. has always been bang average in the UK.
  7. Good reply. There are many fans without a team that would love to be able to say “I’m just glad we’ve got speedway”.
  8. Good points. It hasn’t stopped raining since yesterday afternoon so the call off is no surprise at Perry Barr. I’m just a couple miles away so no surprise. The NSS call off is more of a shock.
  9. Perhaps Birmingham fans will confirm but I believe this is the last season the club can run at the stadium anyway?
  10. Exactly. we know he only turns up for the glory of the play offs or those with lawyers.
  11. I went into the car park about 8pm on the way home from work before the Asda shut and yes there were plenty of cars there.
  12. Close call probably 46-44 either way
  13. Can’t imagine what a difficult thing that was to witness. I’ve seen the crash and it’s very traumatic.
  14. Well yeah, but that’s why he is a high scoring reserve right now. I thought as much as well.
  15. Harris could still take 7 rides from other riders even with a high scoring number one. I personally don’t get this whole certain riders shouldn’t be in reserve viewpoint. Harris has the 6th lowest averaged rider in the Stars team so is absolutely entitled to that reserve position. It’s daunting for every other team and reserve of course it is. It’s not like the Stars have cheated . You could say they have been very savvy in getting such a strong rider in reserve however that will be the case every month. Is that fair? Of course it is! They have the weakest top end by a mile. Is that equally as unfair? For the Stars to succeed this season they will need solid contribution throughout the team and almost rely on the number 6 taking 6 to 7 rides every meeting. That’s their strength. I always believed that the rider at number one will make or break a meeting result for the Stars this season.
  16. Lynn got caught out by not having a true number one and by the sounds of it some bad luck. We know the usual suspects will be gloating at the victory. Shame to hear of another injury. Hope things arent too bad for Ashton
  17. It’s only ever a handful of posters with bloated egos that want to assert their dominance to be the first to post information. Most of us only care about how Woffy and his family are right now.
  18. Absolutely dreadful crash, yet again the serious ones are always in Poland?? Cant help but feel for Tai, the season hasn’t even really turned many spokes yet. thoughts are with his family.
  19. Should be a routine home win, although early season can see some shock results!
