  1. Or very few in the Play Offs. Comedy gold at its finest. That’s Play Off speedway for you. Always brings out the crowds. Long live the Play Offs. just catching up on last nights match. Expected more from the Witches. Yet again track conditions proving pivotal when weather this time of year proves havoc to home track advantage. Time to get the Play Offs sorted mid September. We need the tracks and racing to be at there best.
  2. On paper everyone had us as favourites in March, and we looked good. Good form leading into the play offs then that dreadful performance has tainted our season.
  3. Absolutely correct. Why would we? We have riders, Wolves assets who are on a much more attractive average thanks. Total gating tart and settled at Poole, let’s hope he stays.
  4. They could have payed Lindgren, they took the cheaper option. Long may that be the case.
  5. I’m backing Ipswich to win because we will see a similar disappearance of a certain Poole fan in the same manner as 2010, and than can only be a good thing
  6. Decent and fair post Steve. The only slight issue some keep mentioning is about Jacobs away form. On the whole it hasn’t been as bad as people seem to suggest over the recent years. This season seems to have gone backwards since that injury but I’d inagine is a certainty if he wants to come back. His away average this year is 6.72, making him Wolves top away performer. Fully agree Col (had to happen somewhere!) Not many riders can be bothered to ride here anymore.
  7. He wasn’t that bad last year but has had very indifferent form this year that’s true.
  8. Had an iffy start to the season with his injury and took him a while to get going. On a low enough average for next year at least.
  9. Vissing outscored 5 of the Wolves side. Says it all. really, what was the point of coming into form to make the play offs to perform like this the past 2 nights. A total waste of time. Not one rider can take any credit over the 2 legs.
  10. Masters and Morris shouldn’t be anywhere near Wolves next season. Looks like Masters has stuck 2 fingers up to Wolves over the play offs since he nailed his colours to Edinburgh last week.
  11. He is ‘doin a Middlo’ (last evidenced in Ipswich 3 weeks ago).
  12. 2 bike problems in 2 races for Morris. This is beyond unprofessional from Wolves.
  13. At least Wolves would still beat Poor, sorry Poole over 2 legs. That’s one big choke to go from table toppers to knocked out by the team with no hope (your words). Some comfort I guess. Beyond woeful so 4. 3 none finishers in the first 4 heats? Wtf?? Hang your heads in shame boys.
  14. A rehashed version every year seems to happen by some saying that 2nd tier teams can beat top tier teams. I laugh every time. All anyone has to do is check the results when that happens and rarely does a 2nd tier come out winners. By any definition the top tier is the stronger league, and whilst its at its weakest ever form it remains to strong to be threatened by a 2nd tier team. And for someone to suggest that Newcastle could beat a top level tier made me sit down due to severe discomfort thru laughing so much.
  15. I hope rain hits and levels up the tie. Take away any home advantage. Either way I can’t see Swindon blowing a 10 point lead, let’s face it they aren’t Poole. We also all know about both clubs in the play offs winning their away legs. Fingers crossed.
  16. A wet track a leveller, let’s see what he does tonight. A wet track always takes away home advantage, as yet again proven last night. Thorssell looked very uncomfortable last night. Some riders either excel in the wet or don’t. A wet track takes away any known form. Col says he wouldn’t, but of course I agree with you.
  17. Track conditions made a huge difference. Wet tracks always favour the away side.
  18. The expected result the minute the cameras showed the track drenched. Fair play to Swindon who did what any away side would do. A 10 point away win should be enough however let’s hope for a wet 2nd leg to even it up. Advantage Robins tho right now. Rory and Luke at least gave 110%, 2 out of 7 not good enough. Natalie just saying praying for good weather tomorrow. Wolves fans will want equally appalling conditions to level it up.
  19. You said the same once the top 4 was confirmed. Still a no threat side easily turned over a choking Poole side. Happy days.
