  1. You only have to ask one of your fans who said that it was being discussed by those ‘in the know’ that Wells had asked to be stepped down. A ridiculous rumour gets ridiculous accusations. Nothing to apologise for by anyone.
  2. Shov himself thinks guests would make you stronger, as you can see by his response above.
  3. When a rider is struggling any rider makes them stronger. A strong rumour that you admit you got completely wrong I guess? It’s a shame some of your own supporters posted bull rubbish in the first place. As expected, Wells is fit enough to ride which was evident from his score last night!
  4. Poole had the perfect chance to get rid of Wells before the deadline cut off which would have been the correct thing to do. I fail to see how some Poole fans think its perfectly ok for Wells to suddenly decide to be able to drop his PL commitments but be fine for his CL ones. If he is fit for one league he is fit for both. Maybe he is riding with an injury, that’s no excuse however. Other riders are currently riding injured and will get rest and or surgery once the season has finished. No rider can pick and choose which meetings to ride in, especially when they have contracts and commitments to 2 clubs in the UK. Id suggest that it would suit Poole to be able to use guests because it would strengthen them somewhat however the fact that it stinks seems lost on some. If Wells is fit to score well on Friday he will be fine to ride for Poole next week, no excuses.
  5. Scored zero last time he came with Poole.
  6. Apologies Fromafar, so yes I fully agree with that too.
  7. It hasn’t been for other riders who have missed flights so I fail to see why it would be in this instance.
  8. In comparison to last season he hasn’t had as good as season this year in the UK. But like you say, hardly poor when you consider he is 3rd in the averages. Robert has made bigger strides on the World stage which in terms of GB is a good thing. The UK is small fry to most of the top riders and he will be another GB rider missing to the UK scene too. Thats the fault of the UK leagues and BSPA we don’t do more to ensure the likes of Robert and Tai want to race here. Obviously not excusing him missing his flight tonight, plenty of others have done that or used that excuse in the recent past too. It can happen and I’ve not seen other riders face a fine or penalty as some as suggesting, so I fail to see why Robert should deserve a ban.
  9. That wasn’t on the various videos shown on social media and I agree there is a reason why bikes aren’t permitted to be ridden in the pits. Cook is most definitely to blame for his part. It no less excuses the behaviour of others involved or the have a go (none) hero Marshall.
  10. Not shocking in the slightest. They were equally as culpable. What’s now shocking is that the outcome has very different outcomes for them to what Cook has now received.
  11. The marshal instigated the carnage that followed.
  12. The reaction of the wayward marshal started the melee. Its also a fact that the Marshal put himself in danger that started the melee. Im not standing up for Cook in the slightest, but too many guilty parties involved and unfair penalties dished out.
  13. A crazy decision, and it really is who you know and how much money you are prepared to spend.
  14. Watching the race back I think the actions of Vissing on the back straight lead up to the incident causing all 3 to go into the bend together. An exclusion from anyone however is still harsh.
  15. It’s interesting how what appear clear rules have been accepted as only after 1st bend incident requires an exclusion. I guess it’s been accepted that 4 riders going into the 1st bend together may cause a crash or incident so a level of discretion may be required. It’s a shame it’s not reflected in the rule book tho. Of course Roscoes reading of the rules of course comes as no surprise.
  16. Freddie has no interest riding for any other team than Wolves. He has been devoted to British speedway till the ridiculous ruling saw him lost to the UK. If he really wanted to ride in the UK that year someone else would have snatched him up. Im delighted to see Freddie develop into a genuine world title contender but sad at the thought he was forced out the UK top flight and unlikely to be seen here again in our league.
  17. In fairness I think we were all thinking the same when the riders were announced for heat 15! Rasmus and Doyle I could understand, Ellis looked quick however 4 races between his last heat was a big ask.
  18. The 1st bend rule isn’t that clear either. But since when have rules meant to be understandable in Speedway?
  19. Don’t know why you think he would? He is just a guest so has no priorities. After heat 5 the racing was decent I thought. He is clueless, there isn’t one. Hence why race has been called back all 4 after the 1st bend. And to think he was GB manager!! Tee hee. That’s why you never underestimate any team at any time. Good to see the Wolves star dominating the meeting tho.
  20. Just when you think Poole have pulled a quick one by using the ‘injured’ tag they book one of the worst top flight riders ever! I don’t get how Ricky has been riding injured most of the season and guesting plenty too then suddenly is too injured to carry on just as the Play Off starts? He rode for his Championship club the weekend and suddenly they have hardly any meetings left and he can’t fulfill his commitments for Poole. Its like a script we all predicted would happen last week!
  21. Well yes you did say that RR made us stronger. That said Kyle got 7 last time at Poole, so really only a 2 point swing.
  22. How do you know Ippo won’t win at Poole? Not many thought Wolves would win this week. With Iversen on board they may be big spoilers.
  23. I get what you mean now, Thursday was the will we won’t we match. Thanks.
