  1. It also depends on the wild cards for the challenge final, if Hampel get's one, he will be clear favourites due to home track knowledge and because is normally is a very fast gater which is very essential in Vetlanda.

  5. Well then how does CCP allocate the slots? Does the federations request slots at a certain qualifier?
  6. IMO that would be the proper choice. Michelsen have been ice cold so far this year.

No rain is expected in the forecasts but that's what they said about the past Friday as well and well they were wrong.
  11. Should not have to re-run this heat, positions were quite firm so heat should have been frozen.
  12. I don't know but according wikipedia, methanol was originally made from wood but "modern" methanol fuel is made from Methane gas (extracted from natural gas), however no sources are cited although Encyclopaedia Britannica also says the same.
  13. Smederna will test a new type of methanol today. This type is developed by Luleå University. http://eskilstunasmederna.se/eskilstuna-smederna-testkor-svensktillverkad-gron-metanol/
  14. he have had a tough start to this season. Didn't even qualify for Polish U21 final or semi final. Haven't done well in the leagues either.
  15. Yeah it is very hard to loose a rider during the meeting. The issue also seems to have been the lack of gate after heat 8 since they had to start by light. Apparently it didn't work very well. Lots of restarts due to unsatisfactory start, some riders deliberately jumped the start (and apparently got away with it) others were playing it safe. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The introduction of transponder in speedway are long overdue.
  16. Possible live stream on Thursday. http://malmotv.cleeng.com/gnistorna-vastervik/E310789558_SE
  17. Indianerna-Dackarna is next week's televised meeting.
  18. Reserves can replace any of the other riders at any time BUT they are restricted to max 6 heats each and they also have to ride in at least three of their scheduled heats. Positions are also not permanently fixed for an entire season so KK will only do another 6 heats until his floating average will become official at which he will move up to a 1-5 position and Kim Nilsson or Kylmäkorpi will be moved down depending on who's floating average is the lowest, From what's been communicated, the aim is to field a line-up that is as strong as possible both home and away but for a few selected meetings that they in advance don't see themselves winning, they opt to rest Zagar and Laguta. Michelsen and Przedpelski was really bad last week so they opted for Lebedevs instead of Pawelek this week.
