This is a good point. There is a social media channel on Facebook for Panthers chat and he was previously very vocal until the start of the season. He has gone very quiet since.

Where is this?

At least the Panthers fans will get to say goodbye to the ground and know that it will be their last. At Coventry we just got binned ahead of the 2017 season.

Can't help but feel similar feelings to when we lost Coventry Bees. We all have had our issues with the Panthers the last two seasons but what a negative post to read, and so very sad that it looks as if there is nothing that can be done. Can't imagine a world without Peterborough Speedway. UK Speedway is finished.

That is a very dark statement and not a nice one to read at all. Sadly looking like another club will be lost to the dying sport in this country.

All enthusiasm that I had for visiting Peterborough multiple times this year has completely drained away due to such an inept promotion. I will most likely make the few more miles up to Ipswich more often to see some class.

An utter shambles and once again no regard for the fans. They've known for weeks he isn't coming back.

What an awful start to the season for weather. Really hope they can reschedule it as I know a fair few Bees fans were planning to attend today.

As much as I love to see Bomber anywhere, this is a shambles. Nicholls is declared therefore they have 5.54 (with the 5% home increase guesting average) to find a guest. I would expect to see this result amended should Belle Vue protest (which they should)

The forecast leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately

Mountain rode for the Storm. The Thompson twins regularly rode as mascots before meetings at Brandon.

Any idea on the team line ups for this one? Hoping to attend if the weather holds off.

As far as I know, as he is no longer riding Premiership I believe his Championship average gets converted each time. I could be wrong though.

Fantastic signing and wonderful to see Nicki Pedersen back on British shores. Cannot wait to make various trips to Peterborough this year.

With the teams now complete bar one rider at Ipswich (Hume) and Peterborough (Pedersen/Laguta), I think it safe to make a proper prediction now. 1. Sheffield 2. Ipswich (King and Rew will flourish with the top 2 duo of Doyle and Sayfutdinov) 3. Belle Vue 4. Peterborough 5. Leicester 6. Kings Lynn 7. Wolves (will be woefully exposed and I don’t think their home form will save them either) Either way with riders such as Bewley, Kurtz, Doyle, Sayfutdinov, Pedersen/Laguta, Iversen, Fricke, Harris, Holder, Musielak, Bellego… we are in for a fantastic season’s racing.

Some people are in for a very big shock when they find out Iversen is not Panthers number 1.

Cannot see beyond Sheffield... and it all depends on who Peterborough and Ipswich get in, but as it stands I'd go: Sheffield Leicester Belle Vue Peterborough ---------------------------- Wolves (home form only getting them to #5, christ how stale is their team becoming) King's Lynn Ipswich (I don't believe Doyle & Emil if true to be signing will rescue the season but very exciting to watch)

So it’s looking probable that it’ll be Bjarne at reserve for the play offs… not really sure if that will have the same effect that the Panthers are used to at #7… he is awfully out of form.

Hans will be straight back in the top 5 as of October greensheets. It's between Scott and Bjarne. I think having Nicholls at reserve would be a better option.

Be interesting to see how Scott scores tonight, surely having him drop a few points to move to reserve for October is the plan...
