A bit off topic but could someone inform me whether dogs (the 4 legged variety) are allowed at Rye House?
-
Really hope James can get off to a good start and find a permanent track somewhere
-
I couldn't give a flying fig about the name as I would just settle for getting our speedway team back on track.
-
I do believe we have discussed this before re Poole and the blue groove. I am happy to reserve judgement on your track after another visit. In my opinion a track with a decent amount of shale and preparation provides the best racing and passing. For me Poole has not lived up to this
-
I dislike your track but love Coventry Bees so I will endeavour to make this trip.

Campaign To Get Coventry Bees Back Racing In 2018.

I totally agree and will willingly add to that fund if it goes to James. He is the one rider with no team (correct me if I'm wrong) -
I spoke to one of the riders and he said he knew nothing until he saw the statement. He hadn't heard a word before then. Disgraceful.
-
Mmmmm -- I think I have a problem here.

There is a HUGE need for day care for the older adult and in particular for those living with early stage dementia.Car parking would only be required for drop off/pick up. Worth a thought?
-
I agree with the post that Coventry may ''limp out of the season'' but after Brandon Stadium Peterborough is my favourite track and I will support them limping out of there despite my sadness.
-
Yes I would be interested

Wow I didn't expect such an aggressive response. Please don't misunderstand me -- I merely meant to say that I'm grateful to have a team to support (especially as I sponsor one of the riders) as I thought it was a total non starter. I first attended Brandon in 1968 and am heartbroken that my beloved home track may never be up and running again. I'm relieved /grateful for a lifeline. Have I explained how I feel a little less clumsier?
-
''Happy?'' -- Errr I think relieved or grateful would be a better choice of words.
-
There's certainly a conflict in my household! I want to go to Peterborough and himself wants to go to Wolves. All I can say is that it's a blooming long walk to Wolves. I agree that PK will attract a big audience
-
I've been to Poole 4 times and won't be going again.
-
At least the track has shale on it!! Personally I'm not keen on tracks where the blue groove is too obvious.
-
I will be supporting the Bees come hell or high water. I would like to accept a lift from you False Dawn if ou can fit me in. Ta muchly
-
I attended Coventry speedway as a young kid and that was some time ago. I don't feel I need to ''wake up'' as part of me agrees with you --BUT what is the alternative? Support the Bees team at Leicester initially or give up today?
-
I will be attending at Leicester because I want to support our team. Brandon's facilities at Coventry are very good and I suspect that we will lose the fans that sit inside the comfort of the bar --- Leicester's ''facilities'' are by no means as good as Brandon's BUT WE STILL HAVE 7 RIDERS RACING!! Up The Bees!
-
WELL -- my Dad is bigger than your Dad! Please can whoever is the biggest Dad pass it on to us menials --A.K A. the fans!!!!!!
-
Worth a visit to see the ex Bees riders!
-
You'll need a coat -- it's chilly out there
-
A touching post and as a Bees supporter from a kid (many years ago) I wish I could be optimistic about our future. Sadly I am losing faith.
-
Very refreshing

Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought Poole were lacking sponsorship? You spend a lot of time discussing Horton and have made your dislike of Sandhu very obvious. But we're going round in circles. I will wait as patiently as I can along with many other Bees fans to discover our fate. Enjoy your season of speedway at Poole ---- who knows what is around the corner for the future of speedway?
