  1. Absolutely! The Poole track last night was not the usual blue groove and the racing was all the more exciting for it. No injuries sustained either -- I would even be tempted to grace my presence there again one day if the track was always prepared in a similar way.
  2. Do you mean this is|? A forum is about fair debate ,discussion and opinions. I stand by mine and respect yours.
  3. Well it's always a matter of opinion. I was there as a neutral visiting a venue I love. The incident happened right in front of where I was and I felt it was an unnecessary 'gesture' by Holder. The nonsense was not putting all 4 back.
  4. Not to mention getting Proctor excluded when he 'persuaded' him to visit the fence.
  5. And you know this because you have facts or ''inside information''? (Despite being a fan of the blue groove track)
  6. I guess Brandon is done and dusted (sorry -- no pun intended re Boooey) and focus is now on a new site for The Bees --- can anyone really give us a REALISTIC hope that a new site for a track will or has been found?
  7. Excuse my ignorance -- is it a foregone conclusion that Doyle will continue to race in Poland? If Poland dictate that their riders can only sign up for 1 other league and Doyle chooses Sweden (more dosh) why on earth would he bless Britain with his presence as he has stated that British tracks are dangerous?
  8. My comment didn't relate to fixed race nights (which is probably a good idea) it's the arrogance of him -- do as I say or not at all. He is doing himself no favours and joining in with the ''whinging'' brigade. I have Aussie speedway friends and have spent time over there watching speedway so please don't think I'm being biased.
  9. Mr Doyle can turn the light off as he leaves.
  10. I feel your pain! I just wish we could 'pay for view' --simples!
  11. Heartfelt, honest and possibly correct. I hope he can find the correct path.
  12. Ouch indeed. One day they all will outprice themselves.
  13. I was (unusually) enjoying your post until your patronising comment about scroungers. BTW I post as a member of the forum of as someone a little younger than you with my own fully paid up property having paid my mortgage off as an ex professional working person having worked in a DECENT environment. OMG I have just realised that I've given you the oxygen of publicity by responding to your inane comment. How many rooms do you require and for how many people? I have 2 bookings and will be cancelling one of them but perhaps I could help?
  14. I 100% agree but unlike SCB I thought the attendance was lower this year. I had a row of Polish fans right behind me -- the airhorns never stopped, their Polish flagged covered me after nearly every race and I got beer splattered all over me -- I honestly did not care a bit as they apologised and added to the atmosphere which was a tad diluted this year but I confess to feeling a bit deflated after Greg had to withdraw. I have already booked my hotel for our group of four in 2018 and already looking forward to it.
  15. What a shame -- Coventry work hard to find riders for a challenge match and it's not like points in the league are involved.I had swapped shifts at work for this so very disappointed. Ah well.
  16. I assume she doesn't partake of this forum?
  17. I was a Kings Lynn last night and I agree with Steve Shovlar the home team were abysmal.
  18. I ordered mine on the same day as you last year and got notification today that they have been despatched. I'm pretty sure you will hear very soon too.
