I am utterly and totally confused and don't know what to do for the best next season. First and foremost I love speedway and I attended many of the 'Storm' meetings which I enjoyed. There is nothing more I want than for Coventry Bees to get back on track albeit a new track as Brandon is out of the equation. Last season I got my speedway fix at Peterborough (my favourite track since Brandon closed) Somerset (always a good visit),King's Lynn on ''Holdergate'' evening (less said the better) and Sheffield --- (1st time) Wow! I wish I lived closer and they accepted dogs into the stadium. So am I really going to be helping Coventry Bees get back on track if I spend my well earned cash at National level or am I wasting my time? I can just go to Leicester and possibly see a few of the ex Cov. Bees riders race?

Dodgy weather -- I'm guessing if it rains it will be James's fault? -

I think you're looking for a scapegoat. I would be more interested in the ''issues''. If 10 people don't choose to return because they don't like 1 rider -- how are you helping and being loyal to your already struggling club? -

You honestly believe that ONE RIDER has ''just about finished Workington Speedway''? I am a neutral but that sounds a very naïve statement to make. -

An honest question -- have the Workington riders always been paid on time? You do hear of clubs that aren'd doing very well and losing fans struggle to pay riders. -

No blue groove for years? Gosh I must be colour blind. -

Absolutely! The Poole track last night was not the usual blue groove and the racing was all the more exciting for it. No injuries sustained either -- I would even be tempted to grace my presence there again one day if the track was always prepared in a similar way. -

Well it's always a matter of opinion. I was there as a neutral visiting a venue I love. The incident happened right in front of where I was and I felt it was an unnecessary 'gesture' by Holder. The nonsense was not putting all 4 back. -

Not to mention getting Proctor excluded when he 'persuaded' him to visit the fence. -
I was kinda trying to say the same
-
And you know this because you have facts or ''inside information''? (Despite being a fan of the blue groove track)

I guess Brandon is done and dusted (sorry -- no pun intended re Boooey) and focus is now on a new site for The Bees --- can anyone really give us a REALISTIC hope that a new site for a track will or has been found?

Jason Doyle In This Weeks Speedway Star
fliss44 replied to diamond_ren's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Excuse my ignorance -- is it a foregone conclusion that Doyle will continue to race in Poland? If Poland dictate that their riders can only sign up for 1 other league and Doyle chooses Sweden (more dosh) why on earth would he bless Britain with his presence as he has stated that British tracks are dangerous? -
My comment didn't relate to fixed race nights (which is probably a good idea) it's the arrogance of him -- do as I say or not at all. He is doing himself no favours and joining in with the ''whinging'' brigade. I have Aussie speedway friends and have spent time over there watching speedway so please don't think I'm being biased.

Mr Doyle can turn the light off as he leaves.

I feel your pain! I just wish we could 'pay for view' --simples!
