  1. A fantastic meeting, brilliant to see Tai doing so well, he has certainly stepped up a class this year and special mention for Matej Zagar, a deserved second place on the podium. It just shows how good this sport of ours can be.
  2. Bought mine when first advertised and blackmailed family to buy some as well, although I think I ended up paying for them. Thinking it's now time to buy another. What more could anyone want than to be immortalised in stone (ok, brick then) at the home of the world famous Belle Vue Aces. You can even buy a paver and have it inscribed with the name of someone you don't like and watch everyone walk all over it. Fans of opposing clubs could raise funds and have a Matt Ford concourse (joke, before anyone starts). :t:
  3. It's good to see that the local councillor is onside. That can only help with any planning issues raised by local residents. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Motorsport/British+Speedway
  4. I sincerely hope this isn't the end of the road for a new stadium and feel for all Reading fans.
  5. Brilliant news. Well done David Gordon and Chris Morton.
  6. Really good news. More opportunities for younger Brits has to be the way forward. Let's hope that it comes off and that sufficient supporters attend to make it viable. The Mangement are to be congratulted on their forward thinking which should be a benefit not only to the club but also the sport in general.
  7. Well done to Harris, he showed what he can do, now he needs to maintain that form and keep in the top 8. I am sure he can do it lets hope there is some dirt on the remaining tracks. The Crump/AJ decision was ludicrous, the race should not have been stopped. Gollob and Holta, Gollob should have been excuded but I have some sympathy with the Ref because Holta had lifted and wasn't in control. So far as Hans is concerned people should realise that he is riding with one broken and two fractured fingers on his clutch hand and had been advised to rest for three weeks which perhaps explains his peformance today.
  8. Congratulations Jason. Triple World Champion, never out of the first three since 2001, a brilliant record which reflects what a superb and consistent rider he is.
  9. Congratulations to Darcy, brilliant performance, see him first at KL on Monday, well done Patrick and hard luck Tai, although looks as if beaten fair and square in the run off.
