Premiership riders individual series
RS50 replied to Gasser90's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Another question I have on the matter; whilst it was stated that there will be an individual series, it was not stated at what level it will be. Is it for the top riders, rising stars, or Premiership junior riders? If it is for regular team riders I would assume you will need 6 totally free dates. -
Care to expand on that?

Jake Allen is not injured.

Do you mean someway off by age, or by being Australian? Not sure if he would qualify for a jab from NHS. -

I would assume that the vaccine will only be offered to the British people. So how would that leave non British riders hoping to compete over here? -
Have Scunthorpe made any decisions about admission for this year? I believe last year you paid in advance and printed your ticket. Would like to go to first few matches, but don't have a working printer.

Hope it tastes good. ☺️ -
She could have been a juggler ☺️

Jake Allen is not injured so slightly different.
-
Do the rules allow that?
-
Can see advantage of regionalization, but would have preferred home and away twice.
-
Might not yet be old enough for them.

2021 - Un-signed available British based riders?
RS50 replied to GiveusaB's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I saw something on Speedway Star Facebook page about this. -
Justin Sedgemen final signing.

Definitely did not see that coming. Wonder what average he will be on. He is assessed at 4 in the championship. The conversation rate would make that 2.5, although I am not sure that will apply in this case.
-
No, just pointing out that there will probably be a higher percentage of speedway fans vaccinated, than say, football or rugby fans.
-
Remember in 2017, Sheffield only had 4 senior riders, away to a strong Glasgow team. Sheffield still won by 5 points.
-
Sheffield still have 6th May on their fixtures. Wonder if these fixtures could be trial events, to see how things go. Considering most speedway fans will be eligible for the vaccine long before May, could be a good idea.
-
Yes, but I don't believe he intends to race in GB.
-
Adam Ellis at Sheffield. Did not see that coming. Wonder what average he comes on.

Crowd figures were not published even when speedway was the second most popular spectator sport, after football.

Speedway crowd figures were not published even before the introduction of VAT.
