Time for Speedway to follow suit against developers http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42745611

irrelevant to my enjoyment

Isn't what you're suggesting been the problem in Speedway? From 1 bad year to the next we're always told to move on, it will get better. So, while the crowds continue to dwindle, admissions go up and quality on offer deteriorate every Speedway fan should just suck it up? I still love Speedway, I still love the King's Lynn Stars even more but my breaking point has been reached by the mentioned above. No more am I willing to put ££'s into the club until I feel there's 'Value For Money' on offer. For me, there's no more 'time to move on'. The way the club is run has to be encouraging and so far this winter it's still been very poor from a fans point of view. No genuine heartfelt apologies for last season. No apology for the crass ripping off of season ticket holders. So no, I ain't just gonna move on. I feel justified in not doing so. It's up to the club to make me feel positive and so far regarding 2018 I feel they're still trying to rip off fans with a cheap poor team and increased admission costs to the many.

4 out of 7 at the training camp. Going well then
-
I'm sure if something positive happens that adds to my experience of being a Stars fan I more than some do shout loudly. This winter from the club they've added nothing that I should get excited about. I feel the team is poor, training announcements irrelevant, link up with UEA that'll have no bearing on the sport as a whole and my experience. For all that an extra £1 for the pleasure. So far the winter break has been as poor as the 2017 season itself

Yep, not interested

Tinted goggles are banned I believe

Sky will be rubbing their hands as the subscription costs rise and rise on BT. There will be a bust point for everyone and if BT are charging £35+ then they'll be in trouble and lose more subscribers than gain each football season

I must be a rare breed when it comes to MRI scans, but I do go through a process to cope with them. Becoming a Speedway rider Lay on the bed, cage goes over my head (that's the helmet going on). Then I close my eyes. As the bed goes in I'm rolling to tapes for heat 1. Left thumb resting on that red button (clutch). As soon as I hear the 1st noise (usually a loud tic tic tic) that's the green light then the next noise (errrrrrrrrr) bang, tapes up and I'm away. Then just repeat. Even give some fist pumps a finger pointing to those behing the glass (the fans). Generally manage 15 heats per scan but if theres over run I just pop some wheelies, doughnuts etc It perfect for killing anxiety Best of luck Starry

People are pointing fingures in the wrong direction in the banning of the girls. It's not the sports themselves that are removing them, it's the television channels putting the pressure on, trying to be politically correct. If Speedway insist the girls stay tv will pull the plug

That's not what I meant, sorry. I believe the new main stand will effectively be on the back straight is what I was meaning.
-
I've tried to make sense of the planning paperwork and I believe the Speedway start/finish with be at the other side to that main stand building
-
Now not sure on this Belle Vue team. Could be top 2 but just as easily be bottom 2
-
Using the 'Matt Ford' method it's obviously going ro be a 4.00

Is the league stronger in 2018?
Daniel Smith replied to poolebolton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Much of a muchness. The team strengths as a whole are more even throughout than last season. A couple of big boys have gone but at the same time NL standard riders have also gone from the reserves. Edit: Scrap all that, it's a load of dogs dangling ball sacks -
the reaction of those clubs will be interesting. Edit: Just had a quick cheak of the other clubs and it looks like Buster has tried to pull the wool over people's eyes again. Every team has held their price with Somerset and Leicester holding theirs at £17

Another one that doesn't get it, and yes I am a parent thanks
-
Doesn't matter how big a fan someone is, there's always a point that breaks that passion. Last season did that for me and I have every right to complain if I don't believe things have improved. In my opinion, there doesn't look to be any improvement for 2018 so I'm complaining about it Thank-You

It seems you're not understanding. The club are trying to attract a new fan. If it's just the usual adult who always goes just this time with 2 kids instead of 0 the club makes a loss. They're chasing new adults to bring kids in for the future. This initiative is doomed to fail, I have no doubt
-
The problem is, the adult is the one that has to take the junior to the meeting. If said adult thinks £18 is to much, he and the child misses out. That's the most likely outcome to newbies that they're trying to attract, punishing the regulars that's always been there.

Typical speedway, better of with less people to support it Have fun
-
And Peterborough is Friday or Sunday so a nice weekend bonus
-
I'm allowed an opinion regardless of whether you see it as moaning or not. As of now to your great delight I'm sure, I'm no longer attending. There's no justification in increasing adult admission prices in an even further watered down league. As they say in Dragons Den - I'm Out
-
I just can't get excited by this team. The majority of the team have been part of the failing team of the last few years. I'm just not seeing the average improvements in the riders signed.
