  1. So, in your opinion Lambert will not be in the main GB Team. That's just your opinion. My 5 at the moment Woffinden Nicholls Cook Lambert Bates The reason foe leaving out Harris is the fact he's just racing for Coventry & being rubbish in the SGP's.
  2. No, what's happening here is robert72 is right and you can't accept it. You know you're wrong so resort to the typical calling everyone else idiots He does my head in with his anti Woffinden posts but in terms of how he picked his SWC team Bates isn't the replacement. Harris or Cook or Nicholls or Lambert are Woffinden's replacements. Bates is just simply filling the U21 spot. Does it kill you that much to know robert72 is right??
  3. Can't guarantee though that Lambert won't be in the main 4 for the SWC. If he does then Bates may well be the U21. Again, Bates hasn't replaced Woffinden because Robert72 has selected him as the U21 reserve which Woffinden can't be
  4. Actually, to be fair to robert72 he hasn't got Bates as Woffinden's replacement. Woffinden's replacements are actually either of the top 4 riders in the list. SWC team consist of just 4 man teams with, as Robert said an U21 reserve i.e. Josh Bates. Chris Harris Craig Cook Scott Nicholls Robert Lambert Josh Bates
  5. The report is still on the SCB website but I definitely can no longer find it in the BSPA website or Twitter feed which is where the news broke from.
  6. Interestingly, It looks like the SCB statement regarding Hemsley has been removed from the SpeedwayGB website & the Twitter feed?!?!
  7. Proof if any with a couple of the Swedish & Polish meetings recently that the big names DO NOT make Speedway interesting.
  8. Maybe, but not under the circumstances anyone wanted. A genuine that to the closure of 3 clubs at the end of the same season. Disaster IMO
  9. Is the security of the Elite League genuinely under threat. Coventry & Swindon's situations look bleak for their whole future's and now the shinanigans at Leicester. Are we at the end of the Elite League? I believe so
  10. The fine is steep but the question remains, was it harsh? We'll never know until the facts come out. Will that ever happen? Not likely We hear quite a lot that he and his Mrs are lose cannons with their mouths. Even at their own rider's. SCB won't issue fines like that for nothing though
  11. was it a female referee at the King's Lynn meeting? What he said could fall in the same category as the Eva Carneiro v Jose Mourinho court battle
  12. Steep fine, totalling over £9K A fine of £7500 in addition to the £300 fine imposed at the Meeting. Costs of the Court Hearing £1380 saying that, if he fails to pay and it actually ends up in a real court and the rulings are upheld Hemsley could find himself in deeper stuff Art 3.2.5 (Ungentlemanly Conduct) x 2 counts Art 3.2 9 (fraudulent comments) x 2counts Art 3.2.8 (an act of violent, threatening and abusive behaviour) x 2 counts Art 3.2.7 (acts prejudicial to the interests of the sport) x 1 count Those last three would be interesting to know about what actually happened
  13. Chicken burger, much more up market than mine. Just has beans & sausages cold, straight out the tin. That's classy We'll get this thread back on track see What's that??
  14. Come on SL, just start adding to the debate and it may get back on track. I'll help What are you having for tea tonight?
  15. Put it better than me That last day of the final AGM was the 3rd November. That was day he was promoted to chairman. Not before
  16. You put he was chairman BEFORE the AGM. It's does not say that at all before you start going of on one He was voted in on the last day, that is fact.
  17. That would be a totally nuts idea. That's one way to encourage teams full of foreigners with 1 high averaged Brit in it. Coventry just have Harris, Bates hits an 8 average from reserve then Harris with a 7.28 average moves to reserve That is more nuts than the current system
  18. doesn't say that at all does it "I didn’t actually get into the chair until a few hours before the final AGM" i.e the last day
  19. and how exactly will they be able to do that?? Sounds like Swindon have a council that aren't interested in their opinion.
  20. I knew that's what you was going to say and wanted you to knock it up in writing. Some others keeps saying the same thing so you was in the room during the conversations I take it? We don't know whether he did or didn't do that though do we? Knowing Chapman though he most certainly would have got his view across. If you have 1 person that sees the impending picture and seven others don't it's quite obvious which direction things will go in. The majority rule, simple as. Chapman from the very start disagreed with the outcome of what was put through for 2016. The only promoter to say so just a day or two after the AGM. No other promoter mentioned any issues until they raised there ugly head during the season. You're right though, it certainly does look like he's distanced himself from it. He may be doing the whole "I told you so, you deal with the crap" thing for all we know. We don't hear much from him as chairman do we? He has made a promise to fix all the wrongs for the 2017 season. That's the season as chairman I'll judge him and I'm prepared to wait. All thing's 2016 should be squarely pointed at then chairman Alex Harkess who's tenure has been a disaster but nobody mentions him. He's gotten away with murder over all things 2016.
  21. Still not getting your point?!? He's 1 man from 8 promoters plus the existing chairman.
