  1. The bit I highlighted was interesting when Dave said that. Why wasn't the follow question "why let all the punters travel and enter the stadium if you knew it wasn't right" but no, they just moved on. It was a question that needed answering imo.
  2. £123 to obtain the relevant licences. ACU licence is required to obtain an SCB licence ACU Licence £38 SCB Licence £85 Game on I'd say
  3. Must investigate what's required to obtain this licence
  4. It doesn't remain the same because we didn't sign any of them. Iversen was last minute and the race night was irrelevant to that decision. For Niels is was about whether he's suffer from burn out again, nothing to do with Wednesday or Thursday. In the end we'd moved from Wednesday to Thursday in 2016 for no reason what so ever and lost Kerr in the process. It's proven so far to be a disaster decision. The only thing now that can rectify the problem is Lakeside sack Kerr and we get him back (but his average is to high anyway) or use Simon Lambert. 2016 now relies on that imo
  5. What's this you're talking about? Haven't heard this before
  6. But then goes on to say that the EDR system has run it's course. The EDR & 3 point Brit run hand in hand. Scrap it & the stronger sides will have foreigners at reserve again
  7. Regardless of what is being interpreted in the rule book, logic should have been 'no assessed riders unless already an EDR can ride at reserve'. The wording of the rulebook is terrible. 17.4.1.1 A declared #8, can be used as a replacement at any time for a #1 to #5 Team Member by the looks of how thing's are working, it should read: 17.4.1.1 A declared #8, can be used as a replacement at any time for a non EDR but must ride in the #1 to #5 team positions. _______________________________ as an aside hypothetical question say: Huckenbeck is a 4.00 assessed average Korneliussen drops to a 3.00 average The current 1-7 team is averaging 44.00 Is it right that Huckenbeck can then replace Korneliussen with a lower average?
  8. Well thought out, the thing that stands out to me is the commitment that's required for that to work from foreign riders. 38 league fixtures is a no go first off. It's difficult to get the none GP riders to commit to the current EL 28 fixtures. Adding an extra 10 league fixture + cup comps is madness Even in the 6 teams above a number of the riders would be elsewhere on better pay days. Teams running guests would likely be worse than today. Tuesday (Sweden) Wednesday (Denmark) Thursday (Sweden) Friday (Denmark / Poland) Saturday (SGP / SEC qualifiers) Sunday (Poland)
  9. It was a fair question. Members of a disciplinary panel shouldn't be existing promoters / owners of clubs as they can be accused on the basis of not being impartial
  10. It's not complicated. The U21 is a reserve for injured or ill riders. Absolutely on both points
  11. FMNs can nominate a U21 Rider that is the same nationality as FMNs for each event. This rider is allowed to practice and will only race in the case of Injury or illness (supported by CMO) to a rider 1-4 from his FMN. Once the U21 rider has replaced a rider in 1-4 he will then complete the meeting taking the rides of the replaced rider. In no circumstances will the replaced 1-4 rider be allowed back in the meeting. The nomination and use of an U21 rider is not compulsory. The nominated rider will assume the position in the team of the injured rider. The injured rider and reserve replacement will jointly be entitled to race a maximum of 5 heats (4 Programmed heats and 1 nomination in heat 17-20) plus one additional heat as a Tactical Substitute or Tactical Joker. If replacing the injured rider in the rerun of a heat, the nominated rider will also assume the status of the injured (ie. programmed ride, Joker, or Tactical Substitute).
  12. JC only asked a question about having club members on the board. Hardly venting
  13. So, in your opinion Lambert will not be in the main GB Team. That's just your opinion. My 5 at the moment Woffinden Nicholls Cook Lambert Bates The reason foe leaving out Harris is the fact he's just racing for Coventry & being rubbish in the SGP's.
  14. No, what's happening here is robert72 is right and you can't accept it. You know you're wrong so resort to the typical calling everyone else idiots He does my head in with his anti Woffinden posts but in terms of how he picked his SWC team Bates isn't the replacement. Harris or Cook or Nicholls or Lambert are Woffinden's replacements. Bates is just simply filling the U21 spot. Does it kill you that much to know robert72 is right??
  15. Can't guarantee though that Lambert won't be in the main 4 for the SWC. If he does then Bates may well be the U21. Again, Bates hasn't replaced Woffinden because Robert72 has selected him as the U21 reserve which Woffinden can't be
  16. Actually, to be fair to robert72 he hasn't got Bates as Woffinden's replacement. Woffinden's replacements are actually either of the top 4 riders in the list. SWC team consist of just 4 man teams with, as Robert said an U21 reserve i.e. Josh Bates. Chris Harris Craig Cook Scott Nicholls Robert Lambert Josh Bates
  17. The report is still on the SCB website but I definitely can no longer find it in the BSPA website or Twitter feed which is where the news broke from.
  18. Interestingly, It looks like the SCB statement regarding Hemsley has been removed from the SpeedwayGB website & the Twitter feed?!?!
  19. Proof if any with a couple of the Swedish & Polish meetings recently that the big names DO NOT make Speedway interesting.
  20. Maybe, but not under the circumstances anyone wanted. A genuine that to the closure of 3 clubs at the end of the same season. Disaster IMO
