  1. Steep fine, totalling over £9K A fine of £7500 in addition to the £300 fine imposed at the Meeting. Costs of the Court Hearing £1380 saying that, if he fails to pay and it actually ends up in a real court and the rulings are upheld Hemsley could find himself in deeper stuff Art 3.2.5 (Ungentlemanly Conduct) x 2 counts Art 3.2 9 (fraudulent comments) x 2counts Art 3.2.8 (an act of violent, threatening and abusive behaviour) x 2 counts Art 3.2.7 (acts prejudicial to the interests of the sport) x 1 count Those last three would be interesting to know about what actually happened
  2. Chicken burger, much more up market than mine. Just has beans & sausages cold, straight out the tin. That's classy We'll get this thread back on track see What's that??
  3. Come on SL, just start adding to the debate and it may get back on track. I'll help What are you having for tea tonight?
  4. Put it better than me That last day of the final AGM was the 3rd November. That was day he was promoted to chairman. Not before
  5. You put he was chairman BEFORE the AGM. It's does not say that at all before you start going of on one He was voted in on the last day, that is fact.
  6. That would be a totally nuts idea. That's one way to encourage teams full of foreigners with 1 high averaged Brit in it. Coventry just have Harris, Bates hits an 8 average from reserve then Harris with a 7.28 average moves to reserve That is more nuts than the current system
  7. doesn't say that at all does it "I didn’t actually get into the chair until a few hours before the final AGM" i.e the last day
  8. and how exactly will they be able to do that?? Sounds like Swindon have a council that aren't interested in their opinion.
  9. I knew that's what you was going to say and wanted you to knock it up in writing. Some others keeps saying the same thing so you was in the room during the conversations I take it? We don't know whether he did or didn't do that though do we? Knowing Chapman though he most certainly would have got his view across. If you have 1 person that sees the impending picture and seven others don't it's quite obvious which direction things will go in. The majority rule, simple as. Chapman from the very start disagreed with the outcome of what was put through for 2016. The only promoter to say so just a day or two after the AGM. No other promoter mentioned any issues until they raised there ugly head during the season. You're right though, it certainly does look like he's distanced himself from it. He may be doing the whole "I told you so, you deal with the crap" thing for all we know. We don't hear much from him as chairman do we? He has made a promise to fix all the wrongs for the 2017 season. That's the season as chairman I'll judge him and I'm prepared to wait. All thing's 2016 should be squarely pointed at then chairman Alex Harkess who's tenure has been a disaster but nobody mentions him. He's gotten away with murder over all things 2016.
  10. Still not getting your point?!? He's 1 man from 8 promoters plus the existing chairman.
  11. Matt Ford, don't think many could disagree with you on this one http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/14540126.Speedway__Matt_Ford_backs_calls_for_a_mid_season_review_of_reserve_rules/?ref=twtrec
  12. It's only a mess to Speedway folk. For the builder's, land and current stadium owners everything is moving in the right direction and to plan
  13. So robert72 is failing to inflict his opinions of Woffinden on the masses so we're now down to whether we've rode a Speedway bike or raced one to have an opinion. What the fookin hell has that got to do with it? Ok robert72 you're better than me, my opinion doesn't count so another forum trophy. Woffinden is World Champion, you were crap at the game so this then means you can't cast opinion on him by your logic. Someone seems to have lost all logic on what a forum is, opinion and anyone's and everyone's count when debated fairly. You've just become so blinkered and bias of anything that involves Woffinden it isn't even worth listening too. Remember, if us forum folk ain't worthy of our opinion on the sport try using the 'Sign Out' feature and don't read it.
  14. Ol' Zengi has turned it up this year. Definitely missed from the EL this year
  15. Cook was allowed because he has a 2015 PL average
  16. Pedersen is getting picked on so far. Think there's some tactics going on here to wind him up
  17. Skybet, Garrity at 16/1 https://www.skybet.com/speedway/british-final
  18. High pressure situation, the headless chicken version may turn up
  19. Keep watching or not, finding this a pretty boring meeting so far??
  20. Not sure it will be allowed as I'm sure his season starting average of above 6.00 is whats taken into account for doubling down I do believe
  21. My top 6 to make the semi & or final as anything can happen in the one off races at the end Scott Nicholls Simon Stead Robert Lambert Chris Harris Craig Cook Steve Worrall
  22. Rather a bitter post wouldn't you say? Lewis chose Ipswich (rightly so) because the PL Is where the bar and buyer is paid. We messed him about by changing racenight when he'd already agreed the deals. Our fault, not Kerr's Lambert had his agreement already in place with Peterborough when he originally agreed to sign for us due to losing Kerr. Due to the fact he'd miss to many Peterborough fixtures due to clashes (his bread and butter) it was advised it's best not. Lambert right now would be a great addition compared to anyone else out there
