King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Rowe won't be an RS if they continue with the system (which is unlikely) -

It's not them that's done that -
I've had no response to this question from someone that really should know. Can Richie Worrall mechanic for his brother?? In any other sport participants are suspended from all activities yet, from what I can find out, that doesn't seem to be the case within Speedway. I'd find it completely absurd if he can find a way to make money within the sport while suspended feom riding. Is this the case or not??

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions

Just don't think they can add to their current averages. If King's Lynn go strength in depth, we need to find rider's that can add at least a point. The King's Lynn management are in a tough predicament as they've got to dump the whole 2022 side except Anders Rowe. Scooping up the dregs from Peterborough is also not the way to go as they too were not good enough either. Ben Cook & Chris Harris from Peterborough & Anders Rowe at King's Lynn is all I'd take from 2022. -

With their injuries, King's Lynn have to avoid Klindt & Jorgensen if they want strength in depth. Musielak & a reintroduction of Lawson is a must for me at No1 & No5. Anders Rowe at No6 (not as rising star) is worth the shot with 25% reduction. Not sure I'd go near Tarasenko & Basso to be be honest. Would prefer Harris at No3 then fill the gaps -
Who was Ipswich's 3rd Ekstraliga rider??

Premiership Team Of The Season
Daniel Smith replied to Shaggy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Try doing it to 39.00, it's tough. (-2.5%) Emil & Musielak had to be in 1. Sayfutdinov 10.10 2. Howarth 5.55 (5.41) 3. Brennan 6.02 (5.87) 4. Z.Cook 5.10 5. Musielak 8.69 6. Hume 3.87 (3.77) 7. Rowe R/S -

It's fair but I don't think you can include someone that's only done 4 meetings in Wojdylo & Sedgmen fell off a cliff when Leicester needed him most. -

1. Sayfutdinov 2. Kurtz 3. Fricke 4. Museliak 5. Doyle 6. J.Holder 7. Rowe Just adding an honorable mention to Lewis Kerr. Totally went under the radar with many but delivered for Sheffield when it mattered. -
King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
Daniel Smith replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The problem with King's Lynn, the septet never has anything exciting for fans to look forward too. Every season it's just meh. Then we get fed nonsense that there isn't the rider's available but every other club seems to find them. We've seen this club give spots to rider's coming out of, or about to retire. Cheap. The concern is King's Lynn doing a mash-up of King's Lynn / Peterborough 2023 for the new 7. Both teams an absolute mile off so why would it be different in 2024?? Apart from getting Bomber & Tarasenko at King's Lynn giving excitement from the back where's the results coming from? Lawson, Iversen, Basso, Kerr, Klindt, Worrall are flat-lining rider's. Race winners will again be a tough ask. For me, King's Lynn needs to turn a corner & think outside the box, steal rider's from other clubs, be bold. This club is desperate for a genuine (SGP / Ekstraliga) No1. We all know what's coming in 2024. -

Kind of right. There's more rider's too but it's standard procedure, 'terms agreed' but they're all open to other options if a better deal can be agreed elsewhere. Naming names is of no point to anyone just yet. -
Peterborough Panthers 2023

Don't think anyone is sticking up for Chapman. Just highlighting to the delusional that Peterborough Speedway has a value, whether that's as a going concern or not. Didn't we see a similar situation of Horton even blocking the use of 'Coventry Bees' by a fans group or something similar? Can't remember. All we're saying is Chapman sees value in what he holds & that's his perogative, regardless of our opinions. I'm by far a fan of Chapman, he & Allitt are the reason I no longer attend King's Lynn, but it doesn't mean I have to lose sight of reality. -
Peterborough Panthers 2023
Daniel Smith replied to Flappy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tried explaining this loads but Peterborough fans keep saying "there's nothing to sell". They don't seem to realise the rights Chapman holds. They don't understand Chapman owns the rights to the team being called 'Peterborough' in the city. He owns the the naming rights of 'Panthers'. Regardless of the fans opinion Chapman sees that these things have a monetary value & those are to be valued as he sees fit. If he wants £10k or £1m, that's the price, if it's not paid they'll be no 'Peterborough' 'Panthers'. -
7 meetings, 2x back to back Premiership League winner. Has anyone done better??

Seed change is more appropriate. AEPG were enjoying a little to much, not realising a change in wind & copped themselves in the face -
Never said it's Zmarzlik's fault did I? It's the fault of the rest of the field. SGP has become to soft. I'd be riding him to the fence but it just doesn't happen much, if at all anymore at this level. Even in the Ekstraliga Zmarzlik is heavily protected. I desperately want to see a peak Nicki Pedersen type rider back in the series but there's nobody out there.

AEPG quite clever here. They're making a clear statement of what they can do for the wider community of the City of Peterborough. They will also be making very clear that Peterborough Speedway are running a closing down meeting, along with the meetings gone by, none of the finances coming through the gate is going back to the community. A totally 'none charitable' business. Let's be honest, take away being a Speedway fans, out of 365 day, Peterborough Speedway plays out for just 30 days a year to the same 1000 (guesstimate) fans per 30 days. What is that delivering to the greater community?? The council will see in the end, what an absolute waste of vast space that is compared to the new plan for that space. It can be a very very heavy battle when you go up against a charitable business. It won't take long before the tag lines of "look at Speedway fans, happy to take food out of starving childrens mouths just for their 30 days a year." etc -

As horrific as the line-up looks, what else is there to be expected? It shows the dumbing down of the league over the last decade. No top rider's in the SGP & Ekstraliga have any relevance to Peterborough Speedway. Are we expecting Crump, Sullivan to don the kevlars again & just ride around at the back waving??
