Really?????? Funny as post getting all upset Grow up, these things happen. It has no affect on British speedway at all. There would be nothing worse than having both side turn up and have to have the meeting abandoned after 3 heats ala Belle Vue on Good Friday because of a dangerous track. Those situations embarrass British speedway but not this unforeseen problem

Gp In Auckland 2012

I think you've been a bit harsh on speedyguy here. All he's done is ask what can be done to improve speedway in NZ as a whole, not the GP. -
People say about Pearson's shouting, that commentator really went for it brap, brap, brap

Anglian Youth League
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
May have been an assumption by me but I've took this league as an under 16 with no NL team place hence being a Junior League. Would be no benefit if NL riders are accepted????? -
Congratulations too King's Lynn, Peterborough, Rye House, Mildenhall, Ipswich & Lakeside in introducing this league. All matches will take part after the main teams apart from Lakeside which will be before all Lakeside meetings. They will consist of 6 heat 4 rider teams. Fantastic, bring on the future

Dale, can we use No'8s in the National League??? Would be an ideal option for home matches at least.

There's a lot riding on Kinght this season. Has to be pushing for the No'1 jacket this seasonand I think Lewis Kerr has to make the No'1 race jacket by the end of 2012. Unlucky not to be given a No'7 slot in the PL to be honest. Regardless of who comes in at 7 I have to say, it's a pretty good looking team with apart from Cockle riders improving year on year

It doesn't make commercial sense to have Bunyan in a GP at all. It's delusional to think it does. I'm pretty sure all New Zealanders that watch speedway are well aware of the best riders in the World. I'm sure all New Zealanders are well aware Bunyan isn't good enough to be in a GP and he isn't needed to make this a sell out -

Also featuring Troy Batchelor as well (I bet you've been waiting for a comment like that )

Good news. Needs to massively improve next year though. Must learn how to ride all the track rather than just the outside line. Hopefully a few brave passes next season, that has been his biggest let down.

Threat To The World Cup
Daniel Smith replied to TwoMinuteWarning's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Actually they may as well do that. Australia, Poland, Sweden & Denmark are light years ahead of any other nation and probably will be for the next 2 decades at least -
Threat To The World Cup
Daniel Smith replied to TwoMinuteWarning's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think they've got it horribly wrong though. Most Swedes won't bother with the race-off at all now where as, if Sweden had been put into the race some Swedish fans would he bought cup final tickets in advance just to protect that they could get in. I suppose it's all swings & roundabouts though isn't it?????? -
Threat To The World Cup
Daniel Smith replied to TwoMinuteWarning's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I have a real issue with the new format. All the other teams once they make the final can pick the most in form riders whereas Sweden are going to have to pick a 4 with no competitive racing and go in cold. It can only be a negative for a host nation. I personally would just seed the host nation to the race-off -

If Not Darcy Then Who?

No. Poland announced the 1 GP rider for 2012 before the 2011 season had even started -
