  1. Do you & all fans still want to be the "Peterborough Panthers"? The price is irrelevant, to remain as the "Panthers" you have to give Buster what he wants. There's no if, buts or maybes. He can maintain that licence for 10yrs if he wishes until it's paid for. MT can find a new track after the Showground closes but you cannot be called "Peterborough Panthers". Buster can also challenge the opening of a new track while he holds the licence for the town of Peterborough. You may have to go outside the City & be something like March Monsters or something.
  2. He is, but he's not better than Worrall who you want him in for. I find the dislike towards Worrall odd from the Panthers fans.
  3. It's worth everything TO THE FANS unless you're quite happy to move wait until the Showground closes then be called "The Pansies of Peterborough" or something. "Peterborough Panthers", wherever it goes, has to be paid for and Buster owns it.
  4. So pay for it then. Again, not Buster's problem.
  5. I no longer go to King's Lynn Speedway at all because of our owner. I made my choice. You can make the same choice you know. The choices are quite simple Put up with it Don't go Until someone pays the value for the naming rights that Buster sees value in, you'll have to fight with your own mind on whether the sports still worth it to you.
  6. Buster owns the club, he sees value in it. Pay what he wants or deal with what you're getting. The problem for you guys (and absolutely get the upset) is some Billy Bigbollox sold the fans a pipe-dream then didn't hold to his end of the bargain. The only way to remove Buster at no cost is find a track outside a 10 mile radius of the current club & become a totally different name. Buster isn't your problem
  7. Someone needs to pay what he wants for the club then ain't they, rather than playing 'Fantasy Speedway' & hoodwinking the fanbase? But it's all Buster's fault ya know
  8. I'm hearing Tomlin has agreed Zmarzlik for 5000p per point & a burger n' chips. Tomlin has made Bartosz aware that he's now just 2nd hand in British Speedway so can't agree to the £10k per meeting.
  9. It's not a risk signing Bridger. It's not a risk signing Kasprzak. What it is is plain stupidity showing they have no 'up to date' Speedway knowledge. Probably add Kildemand to the stupidity list too. A risk is an up & coming 16-19yo nobody has heard or seen before. I'm amazed King's Lynn haven't called Topinka yet. I'm not sure money is much of an issue. What seems to be happening, at least for a decade now, is that there's a selection of 'personally known friends' rider's & they just work with those. There just is no 'thinking outside the box' going on within the King's Lynn management whatsoever.
  10. Or KK is absolutely buzzing because he can take his fixed rate without a need to score a point
  11. 12?? You can double that for more accuracy
  12. Tomlin's that guy that will advertise a load of supercars for his auction yet it's B reg Ford Escort's & Vauxhall Nova's on show
  13. The results around Monmore are pretty much written off for every club. No need for any King's Lynn fan to panic from this. Most of us predict King's Lynn to finish bottom so getting 34 is 4 better than I thought.
  14. I can't totally remember the away team as I suffer PTSD from it but I think it was King's Lynn vs Lakeside. It had been raining heavy an hour before tapes up so track work was needed & the meeting didn't start until around 8.30pm. The meeting should never of even started but was rushed to try & make it to heat 10. After heat 9 it poured down again & got abandoned. Worst of all was it felt like the promotion didn't give a shiny s#!te for the fans. Should never of started, awful 9 heats then getting offered £1 off & a free cuppa next meeting just really took the p!ss. It was the meeting that 'broke the camels back' for me, being a 'Diehard' attending fan. Tried a few meetings after but the King's Lynn vs Poole farce 2017 just totally ended attending again there & then.
  15. Some rider's ain't even worthy of a 'farwell' meeting in my opinion. For me, only 'The Greats' should get it, genuine servants to club, country or league. I would make it rule that: Rider testimonials: To have ridden for 1 club for 10 seasons (being an asset excluded). Farewell meetings: Ridden British Premiership or Championship 15 seasons consecutively. To have ridden for 1 club for 10+ seasons (being an asset excluded). Given service to the Great Britain National team for 7 seasons+
  16. I do think that year on year Buster is losing touch on how to run a Speedway club, more dangerously, how to prepare a Speedway track. The downsides to all that is are there the right people to take the clubs he owns forward correctly or worse, anyone to take them on at all. For Peterborough, it's concerning that this Tomlin guy comes across as a bit of a gimp. Billy Big Bollox had a lot to say in the off season but failed to stump up the dosh for the running of the club. This guy got Peterborough fans jumping for joy in the off season only for them to be where they are now, only having Pedersen & Basso to look forward to watching. If Pedersen does fail to return (who would blame him) & the colateral isn't available for a replacement, the blame isn't on the current owner imo. Fans should look at Billy Big Bollox, he's the guy that's let you down in 2023.
  17. The only way the Premiership can keep an uplift in crowds is to have Ekstraliga rider's on alternative seasons, money the problem though. If Sayfutdinov rides next year his pull drops as everyone has had their fix. Next year they need to try a Laguta, then the next year a Lindgren, then a Zmarzlik, so on & so on. As I said, it won't happen as money isn't available.
  18. The issue was twofold for many as to why they walked away. Not just the standard of top flight rider's dropping but also the increased admission fees. As for increased gates because of Emil & Co, it's only a short-term boost, doesn't really add much to clubs profit margins at all.
  19. Any bets on Pedersen not returning to Peterborough for the rest of the season?? I'm pretty sure his Polish club will be having words in his ear after tonight.
  20. Think I'll hold off for later in the season. I just can't get my head around £22
