  1. Can you elaborate on that? Our 3rd best rider so far this season, reliably consistent, captain & local lad. Yes he gets injured regularly but that's part & parcel of the sport.
  2. This isn't a derogatory dig starting this thread now. This is simply that some conversations are already looking to next season. Even the promotion have finally admitted they got it wrong, that make a change & for the positive imo. Currently, depending on Polish rule, Covid etc, has any rider's given themselves a right to be included next season?? For me (being hopeful the worlds more normal next year) only 3 can hold their head high & deserve another team spot. If they keep the 'Rising Star' then I'd keep Connor Mountain 1. 2. Lewis Kerr (c) 3. Thomas Jorgensen 4. 5. Richard Lawson 6. 7. Connor Mountain To fill those gaps the club need to get their heads together & bring in totally new faces to the club, not fall in to the trap of tried & failed rider's time & again. I'd even be asking these 4 to sign already for 2022, be ahead of the curve.
  3. This is the thing, people say that winning rider's should do a lap of honour but they'd already done 3 laps of honour previous
  4. Yep, you're correct to a point. Just checked the league table, although Peterborough are top they've only ridden away twice, 5 at home. Maybe they're not as good as they look right now after all. Their quality (although old) is still far superior imo. To me this shouldn't even be close.
  5. Could an element of match fixing come in to affect to protect his income at King's Lynn?? Could have profound problems WHEN Peterborough win this. If Peterborough do not win this, questions would have to be asked would they not??
  6. King's Lynn deserved to lose but I'm not having that argument at all. If rider's where earning a salary then yes but paid per point, there's no way any rider thinks about league points during a meeting. They all look after themselves & want to earn every ££ available.
  7. That's my point, Allitt is great with up & coming rider's. When it's come to team building & getting the best out of them it's lacking. There doesn't seem to be any working out a rider's form to averages, injury record etc. It looks as though it's a case of "who do I know, they'll do. We all knew 3 of the starting 7 were no good, there wasn't a single person that thought King's Lynn had a good team. How on earth could those "in the know" not see it?? The gulf (as I've said many times) between us & Peterborough is a joke. Just imagine watching Buster, Lyon & Allitt prancing about celebrating if Peterborough win the title. Just imagine that for a second. If only I had some spare cash
  8. This is Allitt's level for me. Absolutely brilliant with the development of youth rider's. Unfortunately I don't think he has the strength mentally for the Premiership, dealing with rider's that have their own mind. Not sure Schroeck is working as Team Manager either. A change is needed for 2022.
  9. It's a better team than when Proctor's replacement comes in.
  10. The period in which Jonathan Chapman was around was also excellent. The club has never recovered from him moving on & with each passing year there's a noticeable decline. Unfortunately for King's Lynn, there's nothing that can be done. It's just not a financially viable project for anyone unless you have £m's to burn. It's simply now put up with it or find something else to do for fans
  11. Us Stars fans told ya, Rob Lyon is the best Speedway manager in the UK by an absolute mile. Should still be GB Manager too
  12. No they're not. Proctor the person is a good lad & everyone would wish him well. Proctor the rider is absolutely abysmal & needs to be gone. Absolutely nobody is attacking the person, in sport you need to understand the difference
  13. Why ain't they using Quest or Quest Red. That's what they normally do if there's a cross over of sports?? Or is it because these are 'Free to Air' channels??
  14. https://www.eastbourne-speedway.com/lewi-kerr-update/ “Not ideal, but done a good job of my collarbone last night, absolutely gutted as it’s been a great start to the season for both clubs also won’t be fit for Glasgow GP qualifier too. Surgery Thurs/Fri, so won’t be out long, thanks for all the messages LK”
  15. You can be solvent & competitive. The gap between the two clubs in terms of rider's is massive, you can't tell me Peterborough's overheads are less than King's Lynn's. The way the teams were put together is chalk & cheese. It certainly gives the impression of caring far more for the Panthers than the Stars.
  16. I have seen on BBC or Sky that they are looking to lower the employment restrictions over time. Same with Brits going to Aus. If you get a job visa's will be granted without restriction, including minor any criminal records. Believe the government are looking to do similar with New Zealand too. The government (quite cleverly imo) are trying to reattach themselves with all the previous commonwealth states again. A great thing & could be huge for the UK
  17. There's a massive difference imo. Peterborough have 4 rider's that have experienced the top of the game, King's Lynn have none. Regardless of age at Peterborough, there is an absolute chasm of difference in quality at both clubs. King's Lynn's team buiding has been an absolute embarrassment.
