People seem scared to say why Bradford wouldn't work as a Speedway venue. I have no idea why, it's not a racist opinion, it's fact. Majority white area's struggle to get 1000 week in week out. Bradford would struggle to get 100

King's Lynn Stars 2020

Peterborough's rider's are on the decline but I believe who we have don't have any more improvement in them. Yes they're old but they do have "names" in their team. I'd 100% rather see a top 3 of Bjarne Pedersen, Chris Harris & Hans Andersen /Scott Nicholls & also they have the strength of Palm-Toft too. Apart from Cook I honestly can't see Peterborough fans wanting a swap for anyone else, can you?? -
King's Lynn Stars 2020

If King's Lynn was Buster's only club with this line-up I think we'd look at it & just say it's an after Covid budget team, get fans back & just enjoy some racing in 2021. The issue for me though is his other club. You look at the rider's their (although Dad's Army), the financial side of thing's really confuse me. The overheads of renting etc & being able to include Pedersen & Harris compared to ours I struggle to understand wtf is going on. Is Buster having any say at King's Lynn or is Dale just picking rider's he knows? The difference in overall quality of rider between both clubs is night & day. My worst thought crossing my mind right now is, is there a winding down process of the King's Lynn Stars? -
Don't think so, that was only 2500 tops. That would still make the AFA 8000. I just can't believe that. The only other way I see those sort of capacity numbers is when Jonathan Chapman got venue approval as an outdoor music venue?!?
-
I was absolute shocked by this but Dale Allitt a couple of weeks ago said King's Lynn's capacity was 10,465. This is not a typo, 10,465

For me, when Jonathan Chapman left. Although he came across as arrogant to many he ALWAYS made you feel like he listened. He always tried to put on various entertainment during the summer months. It was massively noticeable when he went & it's gradually slipped further & further down hill since. Rob Lyon did try when he became promoter but he wasn't around long enough to really make an impact on the terraces. -

I stopped I think 2018, the year of the double headers & the season ticket holders were compensated with a cup of tea. The owners gave zero s#!+s about many complaints. After it being a religion, going for over 30 years I haven't missed going at all. King's Lynn will always be in my heart (hence being onhere still), but would never contemplate ever going back unless changes to attitude & racing happen. British Speedway as a whole is in serious need to give the fans what they want, quality racing constantly & supply entertainment. Unfortunately the only place delivering on the racing is Belle Vue but even there, people just ain't returning. British Speedway is at the point now of no return & the pandemic has emphasised it even more. Recently the promotion had a q&a, nobody was interested, only the usual fan names asked questions. The clubs social media is dead, the interaction numbers are horrendous. I do jave a feeling thing's may look bleak for the club. When read comments from the other club down the road that our owner rents, it just feels more effort has been put in their but they're still not getting right with the fans. -

For rider's it's all about how thing's fall in place. Jason Doyle's career really took off at 31. Had Hancock's mrs not been ill he'd still be going now at 50. Speedway has proven age isn't a factor, the biggest factor for stalling or stopping a career in this game is consistent injuries. -

Nobody knows what happened here but at the end of the day there's always conséquence for actions. If I owned King's Lynn & a rider decides somewhere else is better for progressing his career, they'd 100% be my last choice for a team place every time. King's Lynn have chosen a rider that reaaaaally wants to be there. -

How?? -
So still no viable alternative other than guests then? Even if you use 'rising stars' he could still appear for Ipswich on Monday & against them on Thursday.
-
The thing is, many many fans keep saying about getting rid of guests but can never come up with a viable alternative themselves. So, that means there's nothing wrong with the guest system due to the make up of our sport.
-
But why is it "why out of hand"? With no clashes in fixtures anymore what the difference in a rider doing Ipswich & Plymouth than a rider doing Ipswich & Wroclaw for example?
-
I really don't understand why people have such a problem with doubling up.
-
Holder & Batchelor as top 2 & Bates as a No7. Without injuries the rest of the league may as well not bother
