  1. If he is 5.27 he'll still fit within the points limit.
  2. Foreign rider's can't be less than 4.00. A huge risk to take and would throw away 0.65 team building points compared to his Championship converted average. Stefan is the better option for me.
  3. Good start to team building for the Robins. If Doyle, Musielak and Morris are your top 3 it's strong and not so expensive in averages. 1. J.Doyle 9.80 2. B.Wilson-Dean 5.14 3. T.Musielak 6.52 4. A.Ellis 6.26 5. N.Morris 6.60 6. Z.Wajtknecht 4.26 7. Stefan Nielsen 3.68 Ave: 42.26 Stefen Nielsen's average will be Championship converted due to not enough 2018 Premiership meetings. I think that above will be plenty strong enough to challenge for the Premiership Title.
  4. Peeps, we are NOT customer's, we are supporters/fans of clubs. It's offensive to be described as "customers". We as supporters are worth so much more than a usual company customer. We as supporters dedicate ourselves to the badge far more than companies as we chop and change to gain the best for ourselves. Speedway Promoters do not respect their supporters and are treating them as customers. This is where the problem is, we are treated with no right's on how things are run, just expected to turn up and accept everything on offer. Speedway fans ARE NOT CUSTOMERS
  5. They have learnt from their mistakes. Rightly so, these young reserves are at Championship level rather than a couple of seasons ago at Premiership level.
  6. Becker has plenty of tight track experience in the US so a week or 2 and he'll be fine at Monmore. In a tough Polish 2nd tier he showed the potential he has on the bigger tracks. Personally, he could easily match his assessed average and no doubt come with excellent equipment.
  7. He might not have a choice if he wants to ride over here and the other 4 clubs are uninterested.
  8. So Charles Wright is your man then. Last season Somerset: 6.44 H - 4.85 A Leicester: 6.33 H - 4.64 A Your perfect candidate Foreverblue
  9. Nonsense, their averages are also low for the same reason. There's no 5-6 pointer out there that will score 5 or 6 week in week out. Some weeks they'll get 3 the next 8. The only rider's that will show real consistency are your 9 point plus rider's. Between Charles Wright and Kyle Newman there's no contest on potential improvement. Wright can do a job as a 2nd string / 3rd heatleader, Newman only delivers as a reserve.
  10. Friends/girlfriends and alcohol etc is what keeps a rider at standstill. Robert Lambert was relying purely on ability and looked to have hit a wall in progression. Thus until his time with Woffy in 2017 and during the 2017 winter break dedicated himself to health and fitness. What a change he was in 2018, a totally different rider. Speedway today is a different animal to the beer drinking socialising mayhem it used to be. To be at the top, you have to drop ya mates and train bloody hard. There are some very very talented young rider's in British Speedway but unfortunately they get to caught up in "having fun" outside Speedway rather than the dedication needed to try and be the best they can be.
  11. Unfortunately, with the state of the British Premiership and British Speedway as a whole, looking backwards is the only way. None of the rider's you'll have in the side is forward or to the future.
  12. You wish, the discussion is regarding Robert Lambert I'm sure you'll be happy with Simon
  13. Swedish flag on there, so would say it's more to do with his Elitserien club
  14. Simon Lambert's 3.00 is an official average. He was 2.84 as of the 1st September then back up to 3 the following month. Nice try though to keep him out of Peterborough's plans Your welcome
  15. I feel for Adam Ellis in all of this. All set to be part of Poole's Play-Off Final then gets scuppered by King's Lynn having a hissy fit. Could of had the luxury of a trip to Abu Dhabi at the F1, now nothing. He's who I feel for out of all this, kind of rubbing his nose in it when the whole situation wasn't his fault imo.
  16. The "achieved" average is in terms of doubling up. No Championship rider can double up with an average less than 4.50 ÷ 1.5 = 3.00. 2020 season it'll be 4.80 ÷ 1.6 = 3.00 2021 season it'll be 5.10 ÷ 1.7 = 3.00 So on and so on until they reach the conversion rate of ×/÷ 2 This is the exact reason Ipswich are not allowed to sign Drew Kemp at No7 on a 3.00 as his average is lower than 4.50 in the Championship. The BSPA are trying to make sure that the top league is of better standard than in 2018 and build a larger gap between them and the Championship, which should be applauded. Any Premiership rider's that had an average 2.99 or lower that rider Championship are also exempt from the Premiership. Saying all that, the BSPA have failed in allowing Championship rider's that doubled up in 2018 to keep their Championship averages, neglecting their initial intention in trying to force the gap between the two leagues. This proven with Somerset having Schlein, Harris and Covatti. If the correct conversion had been interpreted Harris would be 11.39, Schlein 11.88 and Covatti 7.05. 30.32 leaving 7.68 for 4 team spots. It's a nonsense double up Championship averages have been allowed to continue.
  17. It does work the other way, hence why Championship rider's must have a 4.50 average before they can be employed by a Premiership club on a 3.00.
  18. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm merely saying what Buster says goes. Whether we think it's right or wrong is irrelevant, hence why I no longer attend King's Lynn meetings at home. I don't agree with the way he runs King's Lynn and I feel badly treated as a fan so the only thing to do is not waste my money on something I no longer believe in. Buster WILL upset folk, there are no doubts about that. Like I said, his way for many seasons now has been to not announce rider's except through supporters meetings or after the new year. I can't see this being any different at Ipswich or Peterborough, when it's Buster's money you do as he says or not at all. I've chosen not at all just so you are aware, I'm not a supporter of him at my club.
  19. Not true though is it. If the promoters are using Buster's money, who do you think should call the shots?? One thing I'm not saying is all the things in the background have to change, certainly not. Supporters clubs, charity events etc etc can continue as they are. But when it comes to money Buster will want things done his way and regularly updated. If Buster says no rider announcements until a supporters meeting is set up or drip feeding throughout the new year, that is how it's going to be regardless of how Rathbone or Louis prefers things done. They're no longer playing with their own money are they.
  20. No, announcements on the team won't be until the new year. As I said, it's the way Buster works. You'll have a supporters meeting when the whole team gets announced or drip fed on a weekly basis in the new year. Just chillax fella
  21. It seems original Championship averages are being used which is farcical to the new conversion rates.
