  1. You've both left out Risager, ultimate schoolboy error! so both try again
  2. Not one of Allen's better tracks is it? Not sure he'll be a big miss to be honest.
  3. I said similar, very surprised at the luke warm response to the prospect of King joining by some. If he signs, they could prove to be right and us wrong time will tell as always!
  4. I'm not sure I think Somerset are now slight favourites. The Edinburgh reserves are woeful and that could end up costing them. The Edinburgh top 4 will all have to be on song in the second leg, not just the top 2.
  5. I think its a little foolish to rule someone either in or out next season on what is essentially an end of season glorified practice session.
  6. I can understand those saying Rohan is a risk on his average, but he's our asset, has improved each year and it would leave a slight sour taste if he was left out for me. I do share the same concerns as others regarding him though so I'm on the fence.
  7. Not convinced by King but a top 2 of Worrall and Wells would be "interesting"? Had a bit of a shocker there Lovey!
  8. Could say the same about Tungate Bruv although I suppose it's easier coming from Motorcross to speedway than road bikes?
  9. I haven't got a problem with Risager. Based on this season alone I'm sure he's performed consistently better than any other member of the team so he's the last one I'd be criticising. BUT, I do think it's time that the team needs freshening up and having a different look about it so Risager would be one I'd personally leave out. If he isn't in the team next year though I'll eat my hat. So do I, Risager. Seriously, Wells isn't that good and if people like to have a good whinge about Risager, they'll absolutely hate Wells I promise you.
  10. I think it's pretty pointless suggesting teams without Risager in it. You all need to start with him, then speculate on the 6 others. I actually like the look of Kevin Wolbert on his current average.
  11. Feel a bit for Tungate because the lad is a decent rider as his average suggests, and he has worked his way up to that number 1 position so credit to him for that. But he really doesn't strike me as number 1 material and I think it would be a big mistake to include him next season. Maybe a year or 2 away may see him kick on and progress even further.
  12. Heeps having a good night, good lad. Sounds like the last bend pass was similar to the stunner he produced at Foxhall a few weeks ago.
  13. I'm sure it would be for those two, but there was a good expectant crowd full of optimism for a cup final, who had just seen their side crapped all over at home in the biggest meeting of the season. Anyone who is shocked/Surprised/Disappointed or whatever word you want to use at numerous p***** off supporters leaving before the last heat needs a reality check. I didn't leave early, but I'm not surprised one iota that plenty did and I can fully understand their feelings.
  14. I hope not I think we badly need him at Ipswich. Again, we've seriously lacked a heavy hitting number 1 and just can't go in to next year with Tungate as number 1.
  15. Is it really a surprise to see people leaving early when you've just been stuffed at home and lost any chance of winning something? I'd say that's perfectly normal! There was an awful lot of pretty cheesed off people at Foxhall last night, I really don't understand this shock at seeing people leaving before heat 15.
  16. I suspect he'll already have a deal in place for next season. On Manzares, the poor kid has had a nightmare last couple of months of the season. Several nasty looking falls resulting in more than one hospital trip, a blown engine to his best machine and mechanical problems with his other one. The poor lad has had the stuffing knocked out of him recently but thankfully, we'd already seen more than enough from his this year to know we have a real gem. Comfortably Witch of the year for me, excellent debut season. Danny King, Rory Schlein, Jason Garrity, Ricky Wells, Richard Lawson and the 7 Witches.
  17. Well King is riding in the 16 lapper next week. Doesn't mean he'll definitely be a Witch next year, but I think it's looking odds on to be honest.
  18. Well done Edinburgh deserve all the success you get this year, far superior to anyone else in the league. Best of luck in the play off final.
  19. Not sure it's that his heart hasn't been it to be honest, I just think he's had a fairly poor year and not looked particularly good in the EL either by his standards.
  20. I hope this does go ahead as I'd like there to be a 16 lapper next week too. A rain off tomorrow will almost certainly see the 16 lapper scrapped.
  21. http://www.ipswichwitches.co/index.php/fixture-list "Please note that meetings marked * are not included in Season Ticket price but are eligible for a discount" So as the 16 lapper has a * beside it, looks like it isn't included but you'll be entitled to a discount of some sort.
  22. We have our annual 16 lapper pencilled in for Thursday next week, so I'm guessing if the meeting this Thursday gets postponed, the 16 lapper will be scrapped and the cup fixture will take place instead?
