Personally I think BT need speedway as the summer live sports schedule is very weak .

have ever said teams can fill there team full of GP riders and superstar ? The point Im making is the BSPA over the years have dug this hole the sport is in and basically done bugger all about it only watered the sport down year on year while admission prices rise crowds fall year on year clubs do nothing to even try to attract new fans while treating the ones they have with contempt- money should have been invested on a 80cc youth program like in other countries Tv money could have been invested in the sport rather than pocketed - Im sorry as a sport we only have ourselves to blame .

fans can only support the speedway each club dishes up they also only support the rules and regs the BSPA makes at every AGM the riders can only ride again under the rules and regs the BSPA come up with so whos fault do you think it is ? The riders dont make the rules nor does the fans - the only way riders or fans can make there feelings known is vote with there feet and thats exactly whats happened over the years.

So am I right in thinking Iversen 2016 average of 9.04 is reduced to 9 if he rides in the UK in 2018 ?

sadly it is the BSPA fault theyve made so the top riders wont race here because of the way the sports run in this country.

what an absolute farce but Im sure the chairman on it as we speak - I regularly get accused of being negative regarding speedway but how can anyone defend British speedway ?

Always amazes me the club let riders steal the clubs thunder by announcing theyve signed before an official club press release- the club really are hopeless on stuff like this - why hasnt Robin Brundle been announced? when its seems everyone knows about him join the club .

id like to think you could be right but i biggest stumbling block is Buster sadly - Buster needs yes men not someone who questions him as Holder Batch and Schlien have found out to there cost .

Well I’ve got a different take on Nick - rather than run him down I’m going to say thanks for your time with the club one thing you can’t fault was Nicks commitment to the Stars more than can be said about some who rode for the club last season some one in perticular seemed to cry off at every opportunity when something seemed better elsewhere - locally based as well I thought Nick and David Wotton made a good partnership , I guess they would say things haven’t gone to plan in the UK but I thank Nick and wish Nick well in the future .

think there is more chance of you and your dad making your differences up than Roger Warnes sponsoring the team again .As for Truck R Us bet they couldnt wait to get away from the club after the shambles of 2017

as per normal we find more information from other media outlets than our own club absolute disgrace how the club treats its fans .

if only each club had a few thousand fans like you up and down the country the sport would be saved .

its all about bringing the more ambitious clubs down to the less ambitious clubs level again lowering the standard yet again . How far have standards fallen since the 80s clubs full of top riders 50 point points limit everyone who was anyone wanted and needed to race in the UK .

Any news on the new Co Promoter ? Id have thought Robin Brundle would have been announced by now if he is that is coming on board . Or maybe he or Buster decided against it in the end .

if there is no tv cash or a major league sponsor I expect admission prices are going to have to go up to cover the short fall

how about making season tickets worth having unlike Kings Lynn last season at start of the season you was one meeting better off but by end of season was worse off would have been cheaper to pay on gate what a disgraceful way to treat season ticket holders ? How about buy before 31st Dec you gain 4 meetings if you live 35 miles from the track another meeting off so 5 meetings saved if again bought by 31st December.

Lamberts biggest problem is his parents he need to dump them out of the pits employ an experienced mechanic and basically become his own man its time to move on from Mum and Dad . I agree hes not progressing as a rider and at times when he rides in heats of riders of same age he looks very ordinary.

plastic sheeting is obviously much much cheaper but I’m talking covers like Vojens have used in the past any hint of rain I stay away

can’t see how - I’ve heard 20k to 25k price tag quoted how on earth is that viable for clubs that get say 1000 to 1500 fans per meeting ? Far cheaper to call the meeting off - it’s a no brainier if the crowds was 4 to 5 thousand but on current levels will never happen .

id take Nick Morris over Lambert eveytime .

those 3 school age children are the exact age group clubs need to look after they are the future long term fan - if meetings started 7-30 a 9-15 finnish should be the norm - I’ve friends that’s stopped going basically because they start work 4 or 5am again they don’t want to be there at 10-30 pm - clubs soon have to take notice of fans needs or there will be no fans .

definitely on a week night presentation should be slick and the meetings should be done and dusted by 9-15 at the latest -fans wouldn’t feel cheated by this 15 heats is 15 heats if it’s spread over 90 mins or 120 mins it’s still 15 heats - sometimes a KL it’s the total lack of urgency that gets me .
