  1. I think you can blame Crump's season purely on that crash at Wolves.
  2. Take a bow Connor Mountain, that score puts one or two of his team mates to shame. Riss needs to be gone for 2022 unless he is on a bargain average.
  3. I just cant enjoy a track where the fastest line is often round the kerb. Hertbreaking to see riders busting a gut round the boards and getting nowhere.
  4. Even the numbers up in the two top leagues Minimise doubling up Sort out the guest rule which has got ridiculous Clamp down hard on any club who can't prepare a track properly Schedule the fixtures better so riders arent missing with other commitments especially on Fridays and Saturdays Provide more variety to the season with cups, 4TT, pairs, inter league comps etc. Make racesuits compulsory That's just some ideas for a start, not everyone will agree and they wont all work but some certainly will.
  5. Thats basically what it is now. The doubling up is almost unavoidable with covid meaning a relatively small pool of riders this year but there must be a better way of choosing guests or filling spots opened up by injuries/other commitments. There has to be some common sense applied surely.
  6. He has also kept riders where they have history and a fan connection, just happens that yours are a lot better than ours.
  7. I wouldn't mind betting the top riders on the Champ are on similar money in both leagues. The race night thing is big for clubs who have always ridden on a particular evening I guess but with so much doubling up its essential that rave nights are kept separate. It's also worth bearing in mind that several riders who were supposed to have raced here in 2020 didn't in 2021 ie Pedersen, Iversen, Klindt, Bjerre and their absence will have pushed costs down a bit.
  8. With only three Prem riders not in the Champ I can't really get my head round how it can be much more costly to ride in unless better riders are going to flock back next year. If it was much cheaper then admission prices would surely be much different between the leagues?
  9. I cant imagine he would be ready for the Prem when he hasn't even had a team place in the Champ yet.
  10. Why would Lynn move 'down' and give up their local derbies? Not gonna happen. Hopefully at least two will move 'up' to even the leagues up a bit, I cant imagine it's the massive financial difference it used to be. If its Plymouth then Lawson has a choice to make I guess although you would imagine he knows what's going on to have signed for both sides.
  11. I can understand what you are saying, Berwick has such narrow straights because of the football pitch and consequently tight entries and exits to much wider bends, its an unusual shape especially for foreign riders who are generally used to wide circuits with loads of room.
  12. Cheers for that. And well done for deciphering that load of garbage I posted without proof reading now amended.
  13. I don't think it's any coincidence that its coincided with Buster buying P'boro and having to spread his £'s more thinly. Cheap options like Proctor, Lambert (S) and Kinsley and risky signings like Bridger are no good, we need freshening up a bit. They've done that through this season and eventually stumbled upon the basis of something a bit more competitive, one or two imaginative signings and it could be a half decent team next year if they get it right. The new team manager seems to have had a positive effect, sometimes some different personalities rather than the same old same old are required to freshen things up.
  14. Yep I think without that horrible spill at Wolves hed have had a very different season, wouldn't mind betting he is still struggling with the effects of it. I expect he will ride again next year and if he's enjoying it then why not, you're a long time retired.
  15. Hard to know what 'good enough'is really until the new league gets going but the point is we want to see as many of our youngsters over there as possible to see how good they really are. Kemp and Rowe have both regressed which is odd while Flint has very much gone the other way. They all have an affiliation with Polish clubs which will hopefully help their cause.
  16. It's one of the best in the country, would be a bit silly to judge it on a wet night don't you think.
  17. If Thomas had a long standing commitment elsewhere and this meeting was rearranged then it's not really his fault, Brum management would have known about it when accepting the date
  18. Well done to the Brits on coming third, a good effort and perhaps unexpected result. Brennan was excellent and needs to broaden his horizons beyond the two UK leagues next year to see how far his potential can take him.
  19. Where is Castagna too? All four reserves being guests is farcical.
  20. Racing a bit spaced out so far and Lampart looks like he'll go through the card at a canter.
  21. It looks twice as wide as it was when I was last there too! Which would have been 2009.
  22. I haven't been since Lynn were PL but by all accounts and by what I've seen on YouTube it's a fantastic track too nowadays so probably could have added them to the list too in fairness.
  23. Poole and Manchester are very different areas and demographics so difficult to compare really. Each to their own and I respect your views, but for me the NSS is second to none as a race track with P'boro, Scunny and Redcar next in line. All great shaped tracks with multiple racing lines and most importantly smooth surfaces which riders trust and can race on with confidence.
