  1. Hall is a thug and Auty is a wreckless and dangerous speedway rider. No excuse for kicking somebody while they are down but Auty shouldn't still be taking people out in his 8th senior season.
  2. Could see this result coming tonight, as Plymouth also showed at Rye any team with a top drawer number one and an on fire reserve taking seven rides doesn't need too much from the other five to claim the win.
  3. You just never know what you are going to get from Wolbert, at Lynn a couple of years ago he could look like world champion in one heat and then NL reserve in his next.
  4. Can't see the Rebels defending their title, they look decent but not as strong as last year and I think there are three maybe four better sides around.
  5. How predictable, yet nowhere to be seen in the two away defeat threads this week. I think that'll be the Rebels this year, a mixed bag of results. Aspgren looking quality after many questioned his signing. Grow up.
  6. Spot on. It reads like a tabloid style series of revelations and accusations and doesn't show him in a great light. Hopefully he will keep his gob shut from now on and do his talking on the track as I think there are already people waiting for him to fail and every outburst will add a few more. I think there is probably more going on between the Lamberts and the BSPA than meets the eye but I also think there is a case for allowing fourteen year olds to race 500's if their ability is exceptional. If he wants to represent Germany that is up to him but he'll be cutting his nose off to spite his face by withdrawing from the British U21's and seniors if he gets the opportunity to race.
  7. I would hope the PL always takes priority, he's going to learn far quicker at the higher level.
  8. Dryml's might be if you give him more than two official fixtures to get going. Just like you are giving Proctor. As an aside one or two people have commented on him shutting off in the first turn, that's how he's been since he nearly died on the track at Oxford, he won't change now. But if he can get his bikes and gating sorted he'll score some decent points IMO, particularly at home.
  9. Yet you chastise people for criticising Proctor's dreadful start to the season? Dear me.
  10. That was aimed at Marksman, came out with a very stevebrum-like comment. You must have posted a millisecond before me!
  11. GPs for me but I think 6-8 would be plenty. There are too many now IMO, although perfectly understandable why.
  12. Perhaps they did, but it seems that the Panthers had to come from the back in both runnings of the final heat so maybe it wasn't fortunate but hard earned. Wonder where Starman is telling Rebels fans that Gary May won't let them down
  13. The Foxhole would be full of freeloaders every Thursday night
  14. Looks like Aspegren should have been 15 but then again Allen & Morris had just done the business in heat 13.
  15. Would need it to be translated into English from Naaarfolk
  16. As others have said, there must be some way of compromising and equalling team strengths up a little. Some kind of rider control so that each team has a couple of the best riders and at least three 3 pointers....Mildenhall and Dudley will still end up with the strongest sides but at least team strengths will be a bit more uniform. If Sunny still wanted to go with five rookies they could but at least they would have two top men who could compete anywhere with any other heat leader. As it stands we have a situation where the two top clubs have three heat leaders stronger than many number ones and with the best second strings and reserves too that can't be good for the NL. Equally Buxton & Scunny getting marmalised everywhere they go is no good either, sons middle ground needs to be found.
  17. I think we'll all have a better idea after the two away matches this week, Plymouth look poor.
  18. I think Dryml will end up averaging around seven.....he'll score pretty well at home and not so well away. Agree about Lasse, the predicted breakthrough has never materialised and he hasn't really progressed much since his first full season in 2011. In fact he performed better for us in the EL that year than he did in a few appearances last season.
