As already stated one only has to look at Batchelor's scores in the three main leagues to see how good he is. Definitely a rider on the up even if he's not always that good for his team's spirit and morale

Speedway World Cup Team Line Ups
Bagpuss replied to Ben Alderton's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Typical Vojens meeting really, mostly follow the leader stuff with a few belting heats too. Thought Mads was terrific and although Puk had a poor night can't see him getting dropped for the final seeing as he rides for Gorzow. Finally I thought Max Dilger showed up remarkably well for Germany considering he struggled so badly in the Premier League over here. -
I know Kerr is injured but where are Rayson & Campos? Looking at those sides I'd imagine the Young Stars will do well to keep Stoke under 60. Good experience for the younger lads though and that's what it's all about.

No interest in this? Come on the Young Stars!

Choose where you watch your speedway more carefully in future.

Calling it off 48 hours beforehand isn't very professional.

I should be in attendance this week, probably standing with screamer and his back straight massive If the updates site needs a texter give me a shout

Lewis has suffered a broken hand according to his Twitter
-
Could you repeat that please

Final score 48-41 (source, DudleyHeathens Twitter) Well done lads
-
I'm at work about twenty miles from Lynn as the crow flies and its glorious, warm sunshine with only a few clouds around. I know there are showers forecast for later but they are supposed to be light and scattered in nature last I heard. Can't make it tonight unfortunately but hopefully the boys can bounce back from the Saints defeat two weeks ago and send the Heathens packing empty handed!
-
Excellent point for the Young Stars, shame they couldn't hold on for the win but heats 13 & 15 always looked tough.
-
R/R for Newman gives the Young Stars a chance

I think this issue has arisen on here before, surely if an emergency occurs an ambulance will attend that? Or was it a case of crossed wires with the booking of it?

I thought it was pretty decent too, perhaps not as good as last year but decent. Didn't see anything wrong with Pedersen's first bend, was a bit of class off the awful gate one. Bjerre wasted a great opportunity having had first choice of gates in his semi, looked really quick during his heats too. Well done to Hancock, would prefer to see some new faces winning GP's but all credit to him -
Looked much better in this week's second half at Lynn, can't gate by the look of it but was all over the leader in all three of his heats. Quick and stylish.
-
Sounds good to me chaps! Perhaps next Wednesday
-
good to meet you too screamer. Might even be tempted to come watch the EL side on the back straight one night to sample the atmosphere!
-
Saw Heeps last night in the second half at Lynn, looks a tidy little rider although perhaps the weight of expectation being placed on his shoulders by aljack with regards to the Witches next year might be a little unrealistic.
-
Pretty dull fayre last night I thought with only two or three decent heats but thats taking nothing away from the Saints who were fantastic and deserve huge credit for the way they discover and develop their youngsters. They still would have won with Nielsen (why on earth did he not get 4 rides?) and Greenwood riding instead of a 27 year old guest and R/R and if it was the rules that prevented this happening they need sorting. Would love to see the Saints win the NL title as their side is what the league at this level should be about.
-
You going tonight mate? I might wander round and introduce myself if so
-
Where did screamer's post go Not having a go at Scunny at all by the way in any of my posts, or the Young Stars for that matter, I just think the rules could be a bit more development friendly. No disrespect at all to Barrie Evans who is an entertaining rider at this level but he's unlikely to go much further in the sport so it would surely be better to get Stefan in the side and put one of the Saint's PL contingent at number one. I very much hope that both Stefan and Adam Kirby get the four R/R rides each.
