  1. lets hope it's a good deal for riders and not a good deal for tuners
  2. for me the BSPA have done the right thing on this one
  3. personally I find this team sharing another nail like doubling up/down , if I were a supporter of either team I wouldn't support this venture ,it just goes against the whole team sport principle and imo while this practice is allowed to go on we are just slipping to a sad end , but as I said its just my opinion and my opinion matters not
  4. when I spoke to Ryan at the last meeting he said he didn't feel he was getting the chances in premier and unless he got a premier place he was quitting , I spoke briefly to him last week about his Berwick team place and he said he wasn't looking to ride NL cause of work commitments
  5. everybody's opinion should be valued , I do try to really get to the bottom of ideas good or bad , I haven't really been critical of buster cause although I don't think he is fully addresssing speedway's issues I wouldn't like to be in his shoes , I've have been to an speedway agm and to get anything changed is like moving a brick wall
  6. I hope I don't fall into this catorgory , I am opinionated in what I believe to be right but I feel I'm fair to other people's ideas and I'm not one to say oh that's rubbish and not at least explain why I feel they are wrong , I have had some abuse on here but I don't really rise to it , I've even had a promotor have a blast at me on here but I didn't bite but one thing I don't get is from time to time we get a good subject and it just descends into 2 or more posters trying to rip shreds of each other , totally pointless
  7. and in those last 3 meetings he was riding a last minute bike cobbled together with an unfamilar German engine , if Adam is the wolves or any other team signing even if you only get half the rider he was in 2014 they will get a match winning second string
  8. but they are paying the riders 5x as much and according to the statistics the average brit earns £509 a week, don't know what my friends and family are moaning about earning that much 🙄
  9. ahhh there is the problem , I won't use red diesel in my van and I was only second string so the sheep are a bit rougher
  10. I think my pay demands were too high , all I asked for was a pot to pee in as I didn't have one last time I rode
  11. what a total and utter farce , speedway needs to change its name to bigamyway
  12. on the general discussion section there is a topic called jokes , the answer should be in there as doubling up /down is the biggest joke in sport
  13. speedway should be paid for totally by sponsorship money , what comes through the turnstiles shouldn't make a difference and before people say there isn't the sponsorship out there thats rubbish , just 1 multi national company could pay speedway's total bill for a season ,there are celebs who offset more tax per year than what speedway costs to run , the sticking point is us , just ask yourself this if you were a boss of a company that had money to blow on sponsorship would you give it to speedway as it is today ? I know I wouldn't and I love the sport ,Just look at the headlines we generated in the last 2 months , we are a financial mess ,
  14. yes and it now looks like in top league
  15. Adams average is 7.22 in the elite or whatever it's called these days , not sure what it is in premier or whatever it's called , Redcar have spoken to Adam in last couple of weeks but have chosen not to Go down that route and it looks like Adam will be in top division now
  16. and you can get a jawa for less than half of that and they are good enough for national league and premier or what ever it's called these days but you can lead a horse to water etc , cheaper to run speedway is right there Infront of our eyes we just need to open them, with cooperation from jawa we could get the engines as we want them , am i the only one who can see the potential in this ?
  17. engines are completely different now from 80s and 90s and i know of at least one top rider who uses a sleeve to reduce his inlet when he rode at lakeside in the last few years
  18. This agm should of been held by now , even if it means teams like Plymouth have till January to fully apply , they can still attend the agm , no consideration is being given to national league supporters
  19. sorry , been reading to much fantasy books lately and I'm starting to believe them and it's clouding my judgement
  20. Why not reduce carb size to 32 mm , can be done cheaply with sleeve , kills all birds with one stone for pennies
  21. why would he have problems with it when he doesn't hit the limit and how did it reduce costs ? The limiter didn't do anything and he did 87 races of which Peter John's says he doesn't recommend doing , as I said if it gives you satisfaction then use one but don't force it on everyone when most of the riders don't even Rev high enough for it to do anything and that includes Greg Hancock, I do agree it won't cause any engine damage though
