Get that but at least something is moving now at the Abbey albeit at a snails pace. The speedway promotion going in all guns blazing will make zero positive difference to the outcome sadly
I'd imagine that any "pressure" from the Robins on the stadium landlord is likely to be met with the threat of termination of the speedway lease.

There is already permission for speedway racing at Brandon (and Swindon) the application covers new elements of the site that don't have permission like leisure facilities etc
In fairness people who have no experience in speedway normally don't survive long hence having someone who has is pretty essential. It's why John Cook et al always found jobs
I agree Birmingham's circumstances are unique this season. They absolutely have to retain the goodwill of the public to stand the best chance of making a success of it.
Hiding behind BSPL "policy" won't cut it on this occasion. Hopefully they'll have a rethink
