In his second he was unfortunately knocked off by Max Fricke and took no further part in the meeting. True, but when giving riders scores it's usually the total from 4/5 rides or whatever, plus the bonus points, so in my programme it was 14 + 2 not 16, so the two previous posters are correct. Those spectacular 'untidy angles' as you call them made for some terrific passes on the second bend last night so I'd rather he rides how he does now thank you.

Agreed and that is the whole point. Calling matches off the day before ~ in this case very early on Friday morning ~ based on the weather forecast is just not on. The match on Saturday wasn't due to start until 8pm so plenty of time on the day to call it off if necessary.

I sometimes wonder why he bothers as 9 times out of 10 questions aren't asked in a polite manner but just negative abuse to the promoters. Against the forum rules but it seems anything goes on here these days. I can't remember if Peter Toogood used to post but he certainly used to mingle with the fans on the terraces at Swindon when he was promoter there. Of the present day ones David Hemsley does quite a bit of mingling at Leicester but in restricted areas at the moment.
