  1. I'm tending to agree with that, even though it would probably mean James Sarjeant would be going off 15m in half of his races . Steve is right though ~ Poole could have used Pedersen as a reserve replacement anyway in this case so no ulterior motive here.
  2. If Bridger rides anything like he did at Coventry then I'd say there's not much chance.
  3. That's awful but not surprising in view of what's been happening with riders not being paid. Seems the only thing for Kings Lynn fans to do that still have their tickets ~ like Mimmo and em1500uk ~ is to attend the re-run. Damn annoying though as it would be the last thing I'd want to do in their position.
  4. Are you going spencebel? If so I might bump into you somewhere and say 'Hello,' if I can remember what you look like as I am notably terrible with faces. Judging by the comments the Panthers promotion use the annoying alphabetical method for programmes like Coventry so it looks like I'm going to have a lot of writing to do when I get there. Looking forward to Sunday as I've only been once this season since I started to attend Leicester matches as it's a sight lot nearer than Peterborough ~ just 4 miles up the road.
  5. Must have been walking back to the shopping centre then when Lucy was off lead because no way did she have a flashing light at the stadium ~ I'm not daft as I could have stopped a race with the red light. It wasn't flashing anyway and Molly didn't have one. You'll really have to make yourself known because I actually agree with quite a lot of the things you say, apart from dogs being at Speedway of course. Anyway, back to the discussion about the crappy track.
  6. Or even the Kings Lynn tickets, after eventually finding them, so that's 2 who didn't pay on the night.
  7. Was that when I was talking to the Poole lot? By the way if you only saw one dog then I'd lost one because they were both there last night.
  8. Be amazed no longer because Hans was definitely there and came a very poor last in his first ride. In his second he was unfortunately knocked off by Max Fricke and took no further part in the meeting. I don't know what his injuries are, if any, but I'm sure they'll be a good excuse for Poole to bring someone else in. As for Holder ~ taking the p*** as he doesn't like the Leicester track.
  9. Looking at the two teams on paper heaven knows ~ I'll have to take my 40 year old Lions scarf again. Still not discovered Robert72 but did have a nice chat with Steve Shovlar, Shale Shifter and Pirate Nick. It must have been a disappointing day for them with the team's defeat at Belle Vue as well but I still think Poole will be champions. We'll see.
  10. Yes, me too. I should think Poole will win by 15 at least. I'm all grown up now unfortunately and on the slope down to you know where. Anyway, why are you so touchy? You're a Wolves supporter and the World Champion is back, it's almost play off time so I thought you'd be more interested in watching the Wolves in their last few matches. You've got all Winter to practise when there is no Speedway to go to. No offence intended.
  11. Does that mean you'll be at Monmore Green tomorrow or Stoke?
  12. Thanks very much. I rely on seeing your post to watch the G.P's. Much appreciated thank you.
  13. Which probably explains why Peterborough have just made four.
  14. They probably don't though because they usually taste vile. More likely contain water or fizzy pop but the sponsors are happy because it's their name being shown. Edited to add the quote as we're on a new page.
  15. Rory dropped then. What are the thoughts of Stars fans?
  16. They'll probably get their chance next season then.
  17. Oh well I've managed to find the safe place I put my Kings Lynn rain off tickets now so at least I won't have to pay to watch half a team.
  18. True, but when giving riders scores it's usually the total from 4/5 rides or whatever, plus the bonus points, so in my programme it was 14 + 2 not 16, so the two previous posters are correct. Those spectacular 'untidy angles' as you call them made for some terrific passes on the second bend last night so I'd rather he rides how he does now thank you.
  19. She'd like Kacper Woryna then as he often does wheelies even if he hasn't won the race. Strangely enough he gets stick from some for doing that. There's nowt so weird as Speedway folk.
  20. Unfortunately David Hemsley. If it had been left to Sam Ermolenko it would have been different but while he had to return to the USA for a while his plans were ditched and the work started.
  21. Agreed and that is the whole point. Calling matches off the day before ~ in this case very early on Friday morning ~ based on the weather forecast is just not on. The match on Saturday wasn't due to start until 8pm so plenty of time on the day to call it off if necessary.
  22. Glad you got your hat back again. Quick wash and it will be as right as rain.
  23. I sometimes wonder why he bothers as 9 times out of 10 questions aren't asked in a polite manner but just negative abuse to the promoters. Against the forum rules but it seems anything goes on here these days. I can't remember if Peter Toogood used to post but he certainly used to mingle with the fans on the terraces at Swindon when he was promoter there. Of the present day ones David Hemsley does quite a bit of mingling at Leicester but in restricted areas at the moment.
