  1. Probably because most fans are already into 'end of season' mode and aren't particularly interested in individual meetings any more on a cold, dark October night. I think Mick Horton was pondering about having a Brandonapolis at Coventry but judging by the delay in announcing it he has changed his mind. I don't blame him either as he'd just probably lose some more money.
  2. I think this is one subject we can all agree on ~ they are very much appreciated and do a great job. Thank you.
  3. Personally I would pick A as I'd prefer to see good racing but I suspect I am in a minority and most fans would select B with their team winning easily every week. 2004 stands out as a really enjoyable season for me but both the Bees and Cougars finished bottom of the league. You get used to it after a while and can just sit back and enjoy the racing.
  4. No copyright problem for me ~ he just cut my head in half. .....
  5. In which case a return to the Premier League might be the best option?
  6. Especially when some people get easily confused. Glad it's not Peterborough anyway. Me neither. Looked like he got fenced and wasn't very happy but without seeing a video clip it's hard to tell. Shame though as Peterborough could have done with those points to take up to Edinburgh.
  7. To which day? Can't see mid-week working as it's been tried before. Personally I love the Sunday meetings because it means I can go so I hope there are some next season.
  8. Actually the 19th in this case is the deeper hole North dug with his comments about not being in the loop. What a load of rubbish. Whereas you of course know all the details.
  9. I don't think so and he'd never be in a Bees team again so if he was an asset I think Mick would have off loaded him by now.
  10. Just don't even think about it. Or Davey Watt thanks.
  11. Doyle wants a mid week track so doubt if he would come to Coventry. He's not likely to be as loyal as Chris and miss GP practices either. If Swindon have a track I reckon he will end up with the Robins.
  12. I don't think Middlo was in a 'kind to animals' mood when his own dog bit him. I bet it was straight down the vets.
  13. I bet he regrets saying that now because he's just made the hole a bit bigger. Still not as big as Norbold's though.
  14. Seems amazing that in this day and age with the internet, Iphones, emails, texts etc., a son can't be kept in the loop.
  15. Pleased about that date as it means I can still go to Peterborough for their play off semi-final against Edinburgh on Sunday, plus the final a week later. (Well the Panthers will get there won't they?)
  16. ....Yes we would have been there and her name is Lucy.
  17. Step forward another number 1 ~ Troy Batchelor ~ who is also an expert at that.
  18. Love your optimism. Hope I'm wrong but I'm thinking it will be something like 51-38.....or possibly even more.
  19. My thoughts too and the same thing happened at Coventry with two miraculous 5-1's to the Bees so the match was drawn. Probably what Sky wanted as well. Who was the referee?
  20. Good ~ it would be stupid to have to run the whole match again. Just two to go then.
  21. Proud member of the 'Poole Paranoia Syndrome.' COMES ON ACES ~ SMASH THEM TONIGHT. 20 POINTS LEAD PLEASE.
  22. Doesn't it usually involve a head injury to be in a coma? I had 3 operations on my hand but my brain was perfectly okay.......although that might be debatable.
  23. Kyle Howarth Andre Compton Nicolai Klindt Josh Bates David Bellego Paco Castagna Robin Aspegren
  24. And build a bigger car park that holds more than 235 so it's not half a mile walk to the stadium through what looks like a rubbish dump.
